As much I think they're better off leaving them as the leaders, which honestly is easier than creating new characters and lore anyway, it does make a little bit of sense in the respect that other than the starter zone, they didn't really do much else (if I recall anyway) anyway. That said, as least they've been more present than Gallywix. Four years later and all he's done is a half second cameo at the end of SoO.

Or better yet (IMO), leave the Horde and Alliance Pandaren without faction leaders. They're more like loosely affiliated wanderers anyways. Player characters join the horde or alliance by their own choice, not by a king or high priestess directing them. Ji and whatshername are just exemplars of the two philosophies.
