Potential Warlock Pets and Genders Dicussion

I'd prefer the warlocks get the cinderwolves but Shamans too are cool. Hunters have gotten way too much attention these last few expansions when it comes to pets. :P

Probably not much different from a male blood elf...

Male succubus and female felguard I can imagine looking alright (and their upgraded versions; shivarra and wrathguard.) Maybe a female imp wouldn't look too bad either?

But I have a feeling I don't want to see a female voidwalker, felhunter or observer.

As much as this image is very "Overly Sexualized" (Unrealistic body types ahoy, but hey, shes a demon ;) ) but it's still a dam cool example of a Femguard.

and then I reckon Male Succubus (Incubus) would work out pretty easy too :)

Voidwalker could be as simple as a mild could change...? (though a new model would be cool)

etc. :)

I know I am. :P I'm working on my 4th lvl 90 hunter, Titala. She's lvl 88 currently. So Warlocks got....5 pets compared to how many hunters have gotten? PRetty sure more than five especially if you count WoD. :P Point is....other classes like the lock could stand to have some pet love.

Yeah a Incubus is the male version. The myths are the Succubus steals the seed form men and gives it to the Incubus who then impregnates women.

People thought that's what wet dreams where XD

One of my alts has a Voidwalker called Jhazmon, which to me sounds exactly like Jasmin (the English pronounciation at least). So I've decided that Jhazmon is a Lady Voidwalker. :P

Though in all honesty I don't really think that Voidwalkers even have genders at all. I mean they look like they're basically blobs of energy come to life. And I guess demons like Imps, Felhunters or Observers either don't have genders either or lack sexual dimorphism (in any case they don't look particularly male or female to me). An opposite sex version of demons that look distinctly male or female could be nice, but I don't think it would work for the others.

Well...that's lovely :| problem solved. An incubus now seems more normal that a female voidwalker. Although, I never classified voidwalkers as having genders. They were just...blobs of energy. With eyes. And lanterns, in some cases.

I main a warlock and have as many locks as I do hunters. I never been on board for the gender option (just seems like a lot of work when there are other pet issues). I think locks need updated pet skins. Same skins, but higher resolution. They are starting to show their age, honestly.

I have always wanted a system similar to hunters. I've always wanted to go around do cataloging all demons.

Been maining warlock since early vanilla, I wouldn't be opposed to certain ones being gendered. For example...VW don't need to change. Just maybe a diff voice. Simple enough! Felhunters/observers feel too beastial/non-gendered(Despite voice on observer) to bother changing at all.

Succubus is an easy swap to incubus. (And the upgraded version)
Felguard is the same. (And upgraded version)

Imp, idk only one that I'm unsure for. :P

I'd rather see, like others, more updated demons before gender changes. Also the fact felhound goes into observer will always bother me. They should do something about that. :c

As far as gendered warlock pets, Incubus is the only must, IMO. Many of the others could just use newer skins (like you get a random color when you change its name), better polycounts, etc.
