Really love this concept Bendak! What a fun way to give us some optional customization and bonding with our pets that wouldn't feel necessary for people who didn't care about that kind of thing.

I really do miss the flavour of pet loyalty even if it's original incarnation could be a pain. Pets have always been the main draw of the class to me and I'd really love to see that revisited in something like this.

Its like a pet reputation and I think its cool. Really the only thing I worry about is wanting to level up loyalty on 55 pets

I love this idea. I would love to see some type of pet loyalty return, and your suggestion sounds like the best way to do it.

That would be a pretty nifty way to re-implement it. And not just because my silithid is named "Webs" and I want it to shoot webs again.

An idea for a top loyalty visual effect: any time your pet gets a killing blow (not from AoE), it's size is increased by X%, lasting for 30 seconds, stacking up to 5. That way you could get your massive devilsaurs (or whatever) back, while soloing, but without it being a problem in raids (since its unlikely you could chain killing blows on your pet while in a group).

Sounds great! It would make some pets be used more, rather than the ever-present Loque (not that I haven't tamed him xD) or other spirit beasts. Who knows, myabe tallstriders would be tamed more?

Agree this sounds lovely. I especially like the idea of being able to apply new looks to pets, maybe even dress them up! teehee. Kind of torn though if its something applied to the pet, like Oil-stained wolf. I hope some day Blizz makes a better system to allow cosmetic effects stay with tamable pets to allow for more variation. So my Loque'nahak looks unique. ( kind of surprised they didn't go the pet route for BM) like a special collar or something that allows us to customize our pets like this.

I liked the old pet loyalty but I had a tendency to forget to feed the pet...had my first pet run away that way lol. And this was back when it would literally up and run away from you.
