If it has been in the Legion database since Alpha, it is probably a mob that was never implemented. There are dozens of them.

Whats the new NPC ID? Only one I found for "Fire Scorpion" on either live or beta database as 53127.

Yeah, that was added back in 7.0.1, which was about mid Alpha. May or may not have ever been implemented.

Perhaps thats a future scenario that brings us back here. Legion is revisiting a LOT of old places, and Burning Front was heavily druidic, so its feasible imo. A special scenario wouldn't require the quest chain to unlock so it would be accessible.

Oh, good reminder, Quiv. Shamans go back to the Firelands for a specific reason. The scorpions are probably there.

Is there a link to this from the Petopia home page? I could not find it and had to come find this post in the board to find the page.

Finally added links on Petopia to the Legion pre-Expansion tames. I'm gonna be adding the post-expansion stuff in the next few days.

How are Hunters going to get there, then?

They won't be able to. It isn't the first time that Blizz has placed a beast in an area that Hunters can't get to (the Deer in the Emerald Dreamway, for example).

Um. Hey guys. Maybe they're changing from this Emberspit scorpion to that new model. I knew I recognized that name. Anyone check the Molten Front to see if the model may have changed on a level 85 in legion?

Yeah I checked it out (I think others did too), still the same black madexx model, same old NPC ID. I do hope a rare comes up with that new model cuz its purty!

I won't be updating the lists in the OP here any more (well, I haven't been for a while since I've been busy). It's too much work to keep the lists here updated as well as the database and pages. This thread can still serve for new finds and discussing new pets.

Oh, I'll also try to get up another page that lists the looks of all pets from Legion, even if they're not new appearances. The current one just lists new appearances. I may also try to get a page up for missing / untameable-only looks.

Good catch. Thanks. There actually aren't any known mobs that use it (for some reason they gave them all the white Pandaren look). I've flagged it as unused, so it should no longer appear on that page. The green stag and doe are also unused, as far as I know (aside from the ones in the Druid-only area).

This may be a silly question (or better suited to a different thread), but where in Suramar is Leystation Moonfall? I've been all over Suramar now and haven't seen any of the manasabers at all, except for a few friendly ones who offer you a wild ride in return for some mana shards and Myonix. I couldn't find any of the Thicket Manahunters at the Crimson Thicket (plenty of featherbeasts and spiders and regular cats and a couple moths, though); are the blue manasabers as uncommon a spawn as the Manashell, or am I just blind? (probably the latter to be honest, I am VERY tired right now haha)

Speaking of the Manashell though, there were at least two up when I went to check on them! So it looks like it's not limited to one spawn at a time like certain battlepets in Draenor, which was kind of the impression I had gotten. They were both up at the top of a waterfall I had a heck of a time finding a path up to (probably due to lack of familiarity with the zone than anything else). I don't have a coordinate addon right now but here's a map of the area since it took me a while to find.



Edit: haha neeeevermiiiiind I found it :x Silly unmarked map locations. I still couldn't find any of the Crimson Thicket spawns, but I may still be blind and this one'll serve me just as well.
