Good things about Legion

Unread post by Teigan »

So, we all know Legion did some bad stuff. But there's good things too. Post a pic or just tell something positive about this expansion. Like bunnies. Bunnies are good. As for me, there's the shoveltusk and The Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog finally looking properly murderous. And the photobombing rat is cute too. And transmog that looks like leather and that I have no idea where I got it.

Legion has A LOT of good things. SV is a lot of fun, that's for sure. Been leveling a gnome hunter and she is a blast, might even make her my main hunter. XD Tamed Thok on Jessibelle. Transmog system ROCKS.

I actually am attached to Firesinge, my warlock's "Moon Moon" infernal.

Ursa's all fuzzy! <3 And I am really enjoying survival spec with him. :)

I discovered some transmog options that I must have had buried on alts and now have a new favorite for Kalli. :D

And last but not least B A G S P A C E!

(Yes, I know, the staff should be in the Ursa pic. But for aesthetic purposes, this is correct.)

There's a lot I do like about Legion (which is ironic, I know, since I've also been upset by it in other threads). But you're 100% right, there are some awesome things about Legion that I'm super excited for. Unfortunately, seems like my beta folder decided to eat all my screenshots so I don't have many to use :C

But some of my favorite things!

1. HAVING TWO PETS AS BEASTMASTERY!
I know for some, Hati is a mixed feeling (and I respect that), but to me having two permanent pets is awesome. I love it! I genuinely hope having two permanent pets is something for BM post-Legion.

2. FINALLY SOME NON-ORC LORE/NOT ALL ABOUT THRALL
I know that MoP was really about Pandaren, but I felt like that 14 months of Seige of Orgrimmar made MoP feel less about Pandas and more about orcs/Garrosh. And of course, since Cataclysm, there's been a hefty dose of Thrall too. Which yanno, fine, I do love the story. But I'm super super super glad we get an Elven (particularly Night Elven/Nightborne) lore spin this time around. I've always loved Night Elves and getting an expansion featuring a lot more of them? Yes.

3. OWLCATS
For real, owlcats are the cutest thing. I might actually make my druid my 2nd favored alt this expansion just so I can get those sweet sweet owlcat forms. Holy crap. Also, I'm sad we can't tame them but AT LEAST WE HAVE THEM TO ENJOY SOMEWAY!

4. World Quests
Love these. I'm so glad I will have more stuff to do and keep me busy, and I loved how they felt to experience on beta.

Those are just some of the things I'm excited for. Probably not impressive list but I'M PSYCHED ABOUT THEM. A LOT.

New bug pets from AQ!
With transmogg my blood elf male rogue is nearly naked! :headbang:
Easier raids for now!
More battle pets...even though I don't have much space for new ones lol
No more garrison dailies!
Demon Hunters! And not just because they're basically shirtless elf dudes...okay well basically.

Gnome hunters! More bag space! New transmog system... even with it's flaws lets me have way more options for newer characters I make. No shoulders!

As I play the classes more and get used to them I'm sure I won't be as disappointed with some of the changes.

I'm excited for Legion. This expansion has my interest much more than WoD did, and I race-changed to Gnome as soon as the servers went live.

I'm enjoying the changes to the hunter class, and Survival is great, I was always on the melee hunter bandwagon, going all the way back to early survival with lacerate. I'm a little bummed that survival doesn't get to dual-wield, but that's a minor quibble.

Gnome Hunter is everything I'd hoped it would be, and the mechanic pets have been a hilarious and welcome addition to my stable. I love N.U.T.Z. and Tekton!

The wardrobe is another thing that really made a huge QoL change for me, as I freed up over 600 bank and bag slots. It was kind of fun to log on and immediately get all the fashionista achievements on one character though. I'm extremely happy to be able to use my tabard of the void/flame/frost on other characters now, as they were spread out on alts and I really wanted them on Carnacki.

I'm happy with the DK changes, and I'm boosting a warlock this Friday when I pick up Legion-the lock changes to Aff and Demo look like so much fun.

Am I happy with all the changes? No, I'm not, but on the whole I'm satisfied with Legion's pre-patch and I can't wait to dive into it.

OH YEAH, one of the main reasons I came back was to tame Cadmus! <3

I'd been waiting for him to come home since the MoP beta. :) I've always adored the yak animations!

I'm glad to see the Yaks are still suitably large after being tamed.

Demon Hunters, Shamans and Priests.

Sadly, I'm no longer maining Hunter in Legion... I just don't enjoy the class changes, sadly, enough to make me main switch. But! This was a positive things thread and oooooooooooooooooooo boy am I happy with the new classes I'll be playing. Demon Hunters play amazingly well and I love what the class changes did for Shaman and Priests. Though I'll eventually aim to level one of everything, those will definitely be the classes I'll try to focus on this expansion.
I have a Tumblr!
I no longer main my Hunter; Legion changes have unfortunately put me off from the class. However I still plan to stick around for the community here ^^
My Current Main! (Updated once more as I switched factions!)

The more I settle into the new BM, the more I like it.

Multishot triggering beast cleave instantly feels like a better damage burst than in the past. Maybe it's just my attitude, but I'm enjoying it.

Hopefully the damage will get bumped with the next patch.

Funny I was actually just thinking about this. I raid A LOT ...................... I mean. Probably more than what's healthy. I do not have top gear. Like at all. (curse you RNG Gods) But on Sunday I was on my main raiding and actually hit 7th in damage for the raid. SEVENTH!! *gives smug look* I am sure that is nothing to be excited about or boast about to others but to me it's huge and has me very enthusiastic about patches that may come to BM.
I settled into a good rotation and just tried. I am not "loving" BM like I was pre 7.0 but I am sure as Hades not hating it like originally.

I'm digging relearning everything. Yes its painful for specs I cherish, but for the other 35 specs in the game, its almost like a new game. Trying to wrap my head around Enhancement Shaman now since I'm doing some old raid mog runs, and its like rediscovering everything fresh.
