Does anyone know if Bulvinkel will scale from 100? Like, can I go to his spot and tame him (if he's up, of course) on the launch without levelling?

He did on Beta. That was my first stop on my hunter.

In beta people reached him by glider before legion flying.

The question isn't "is he tamable at level 100?", it's "does he also come with a spirit squirrel vanity pet?" Just sayin

I'd actually recommend trying to get the glider as soon as possible in Legion because it's so useful pretty much everywhere! Since the Hunter class hall is in Highmountain and the glider components likewise it should be easier for us.

Is it worth trying to rush to him as soon as launch happens?

What's his actual spawn time? Did we ever figure that out?

I visited his location a couple times over the weekend and never once saw him. It could be complete coincidence but I have a feeling he has a longer spawn.

I actually ran up there about 20 minutes ago on beta and he was up. xD I tamed him.

Was scouting out the best way to get up there. (Which is really a long way around, no matter how you do it. :/)

Went straight for his spot, and he spawned about an hour after the Legion content went live. Thanks guys

So he wasn't up as soon as the servers were live? That's good to know.

I just timed it - I can reach his location in 6 minutes from a toon that freshly teleports to Dalaran, haha.

Not for me at least. Someone was there before me but logged out before he'd spawned and said he wasn't there when they showed up, and I only got there maybe ~10 mins after servers started up.

Looks like he respawns pretty fast, too; I'm logging out for the night for now, but went to check on him before I went and he was back up:

That's good. Long respawn hunter rares should be a thing of the past. The challenge tames are where hard tames should be, not sitting endlessly for weeks/months waiting for something to spawn.

Also, thanks whoever Dorothygale is, if you're on here. You helped me figure out I landed on the proper place when testing how fast I could reach the spawn point.

Well i'm two hours into camping and no sign of him yet, hope he spawns soon so I can get back to levelling!

I read that once one character has done the quest to port Dalaran to the Broken Isles we can skip it on the rest if this is true my Demon Hunter is one quest away all I need is Blink of an Eye after that I plan on logging my main Alliance hunter and zipping there and camp till I see and tame or fall asleep but am leaving them there until I get this moose.

So yea, he was definitely up when the launch occurred:



I beat like 3 Alliance Hunters in the area to him. (Gogo Gnomish Gravity Well >_>) Glided from Dalaran (reached most of the way to the water below him, then walked up to the area right below him, and gravity welled up. Was survival, in case I needed to Harpoon onto a goat to get up, which I did.)

I feel a little bad though because I'm not Beast Mastery, but I just love his model.
