When we lose Titanstrike and maybe Hati how would you want to see him saved?

I personally don't think Hati needs saving.
I'm 98% sure that Hati insists that he gives his life in order to help save Azeroth. To me, thats a beautiful, and very sad, thing.. That he would willingly go in order to help save all life.
Who knows though. Maybe the spirit of Hati will linger on to watch over after he's gone.

I second what Bowno said. Hati himself doesn't need to be saved. Would be far more meaningful that he gives up his life in order to remove the corruption that would otherwise kill Azeroth.

That being said, I do think that the various Hati skins should be tamable somewhere. A great way to do that would be to have Hati's pups on the peak above Trueshot or someplace meaningful (like Storm Peaks), as myself and some others have suggested.

Honestly, as long as they do Hati justice, and there's some means of getting the skins as tameable beasts, I've got no problem with seeing him go. I feel like trying to preserve Hati as he is just isn't going to work, considering he's tied to the weapon, and the weapon, lorewise, will not be staying and, gameplay-wise, the weapon Titanstrike won't be viable for all the expansions to come.

Don't get me wrong, I like the skins of Hati and don't want to see either them or the 2-pet idea lost, and I don't want to come across as harsh. Just saying, I don't believe Blizzard will preserve Hati specifically. If they do, though, then kudos to them. But, like the other two before me have said, it just seems a lot more 'poetic' for Hati to give up his life to protect Azeroth, and then we gain the trust of his pups or whatever to gain access to the Hati skins

I'll admit I'm not personally attached to Hati himself, but I do feel that the models should remain available for hunters in the future just because they're so nice looking. My favourite idea is to have them scattered around, perhaps at the Lodge, as tameable beasts, whether as 'pups' of Hati or just something else. I'm not as concerned with the details, and I'm not even sure if I'd tame one myself, I'd just hate to see good models become unavailable after Legion, especially when plenty of hunters will have formed a bond with them.

This is a beautiful idea. I also like the trueshot lodge option...with maybe titanstrike replica hung above him on the wall.

Or even having a statute of him somewhere "red dog" style.

I think it would be cool if there were something like a spirit of Hati that can spawn in the available colors (kinda like Madexx) but spawned in Storm Peaks. Hati has no real tie to Broken Isles anyway.

The only tie you could say he has to the Broken Isles is Trueshot, due to his time with the Huntmaster. But I would consider that a weaker connection compared to his home of Storm Peaks.

Something like 1, but only because it has the model(s) tameable. I'm pretty much 100% in agreement with Vephriel, although I understand how other people want some resolution in the Hati storyline. As far as the third issue, the "second pet"... it should be optional if it's there at all. Like a inverse "Lone Wolf" talent.

1. We use our weapons to fix(?) Silithus. Hati survives but needs to recover.
2. Hati returns to Storm Peaks to rest with Thorim.
3. At 120, we can return and see Hati is healthy.
4. Hati also has three pups, each one resembling the other skin tints.
5. Speak to Hati or the pups. You get two options; Tame it as a wolf, or tame it as a Spirit Beast
6. The NPC despawns upon picking an option, and the tameable version (Wolf or SB) spawns friendly to everyone but you. Tame it and be done.

I don't particularly care for Hati at all, considering he's been a buggy trash pet for the entire expansion, but this is the only sensible option in my opinion.

The first step is the issue. We don't use them to fix Silithus, we use them to draw the corruption out of Sargeras' sword in order to prevent that same corruption from poisoning Azeroth's bloodstream. Our weapons absorb this corruption, which either destroys or corrupts them (we don't know which yet). Since Hati is directly connected to Titanstrike (since its power is apart of Hati), this corruption would kill or corrupt Hati.

Agreed. I think the option would be great for people like me. I didn't like the feel of BM in Legion where you're just chucking animals at stuff.

And yeah, I'm getting to the point of "pet fatigue" with Hati. I'd like to just have one pet again.

I would gladly trade Hati in for an actual second pet.

Bringing this back from the dead for one reason they picked the first choice which was the most popular and by chance the one I tweeted to the quest guy for WOW so cool they used part of my idwa to save our good boy.
