I'm sitting here listening to Return of the King (room mate is watching it). There's that one scene with the Rohirrim on the hilltop overlooking the battle outside of Gondor that always gives me goose bumps.
The combination of the sound of their horns, the speech King Théoden gives, their charge... That whole scene has to be my favorite of all three movies.
So any particularly moving scenes from movies or TV that take your breath away or give you goose bumps? :]

A few that come to mind without a moment's thought are these scenes:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OF3tJnk79Tk from Remains of the Day.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ndke7ZOw ... re=related from my favourite film of all time, Farinelli - Il Castrato.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dz5zXxESKVM from Gone With the Wind.
Lots more, but you'd all die of boredom by the time I'd finish.

Re: Movie scenes that give you goose bumps
Pretty much the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy (the recent one obv) - in particular I'd say the "treant rampage".
Nausicaa and most of the stuff from Hayao Miyazaki
Braveheart (corny maybe, but so what)
Cloverfield (yep I'm weird)
Blair Witch Project
No Country For Old Men
The Hitcher
Last Great Picture Show
That's all I can think of right now but there's probably a few thousand more

Re: Movie scenes that give you goose bumps
I've probably got millions but one of the most powerful emotional scenes for me ever in a movie is the song at the end of Before Sunset. See, I had seen Before Sunrise when I was a romantic preteen, and it was forever my favorite movie. Then ten years later comes Before Sunset, and I'm deathly afraid that it's not as special and that the romance has gone and there's no chemistry and my favorite couple is no more....
I go see it and it's AMAZING. They are just as wonderful, the chemistry is SO there, they have real worries, troubles, issues, but the special feeling is all there and it's even more real now. And finally in the end Céline sings this song, and I'm crying and grinning and laughing at the cuteness. I'm just so GRATEFUL to Julie Delpy, Ethan Hawke, the director and the rest of the cast that they made these two films.
I really recommend that everyone watch Before Sunrise and Before Sunset.
