Generally, if you don't copy other people's stuff really closely you should be ok. Furries are really loud so it seems more common then it actually is.
This person's theft is WELL documented, despite her attempts to hide everything. She's been shown to be tracing over other peoples art/photos, right down to individual hairs, from the start. Layovers match up perfectly and the quality of her work drops drastically if she can't trace something for an image (or she decides she doesn't like a commissioner). People have been talking about taking legal action against her for a few years now.

Urg. I just wanna stay away from that kinda stuff. :c I mean taking inspiration from an art style or pose or whatever I have no issue with, I do it myself sometimes, but outright copying entire images? I don't consider tracing to be art. It's not artistic, it's just theft. But why do people commission her if they know she's stealing/tracing??

Why do people feel the need to copy everything anyway?
I mean, I do what others do; lineart base copy, I'm a 'visual artist', I can usually mimic only the base of it, everything if I try hard enough (I'm too lazy hurderp)

Drawing a furry is harder then I thought..I got the position down, though I mean I'm going to use a base of a female sitting, but I can't draw muzzles for sh*t...or the ears...or my hair on a fox...or the eyes..or..yeah anything. *Sigh* Gahhh >.<, I can't find female FOX bases anywhere either, and my imagination isn't the best at creating muzzles..(let's just say the last time I tried making a howling wolf from scratch, he looked more like a duck-goat screaming at a ball of cheese :U)

Because not everyone knows.

She's a manipulative, compulsive liar with a massive victim complex, who's burned through multiple different names/fursonas trying to hide this. She blackmails, bullies, and guilt trips commissioners into removing beware posts and keeping quiet. She constantly claims to be on the verge of being homeless/bankrupt when asked for refunds (but keeps getting caught buying expensive new toys and pets). Constantly blames others for stuff not being done. Everything is always someone else's fault and she's constantly being "harassed".
She does a hand full of the commissions so she can claim she's working on the stuff. She's also started using stock photos in an effort to get around copyrights. When she get's caught, she pretends to be sorry and claims she'll do the right thing but goes right back to stealing once things quiet down (or she realizes she won't get her way).

And she posts photo realistic furry porn. It's taken years to get furry site admins to actually ban her, despite all the evidence.

Yeah. I got a lot of feels...

If you can get sculptris to work on your computer you can make and pose rough 3d models to draw over. I make custom ones to use for larger commissions myself. It let's me keep anatomy and proportions consistent in multi character pics. It's like using one of those wooden art dolls but with more customization. And it's a widely accepted practice in the art industry, unlike tracing someone else's work XD
Sketchup can also be used to make rough backgrounds. Both of these programs have free to use versions.

Screaming duck-goat sounds like a band name.

Had a pretty shitty weekend - had to tell my husbands parent's their cat died while they were away (he was 17 though) after they just found out his Aunt has cancer in three different parts of her body - not a good sign

I wish I could rip my body apart. I've been in so much pain that I've missed the last two days of work and been extremely depressed, anxious, and dysphoric over this. I just want to curl up and die.

Also recently seeing my former abuser still getting away with the shit he does is making me more sick than I already am. I'm gonna throw up...

I guess on the bright side..my brother sort of set me up with a new friend..turns out, she likes everything I do, and she used to play, she's also insanely sweet and understanding...at least I got that going for me..

@Novi - check with your local humane society. Ours has a program that distributes pet food to people in need; I think a lot of them do. Or ask local cat rescues.

That certain people get away with basically not doing really simple shit that is their.... you know... job!? Like if you need someone to walk 20mins to another location JUST to fetch your mail (which is in the same fucking building as you) then you seriously should quit. Its just the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen someone ask in the name of "support" ever. Along with turning on the self check computers that are 4 steps away from her desk....like I just can't...and if anyone else would of asked for this kind of help they would of been laughed out of the office but because certain people are treated like the freakin queen...gah!!

Excuse typos but I am freaking out.

Around twenty minutes ago I saw really weird flashes of light outside my house. I ignored it, but it wasn't like lightning. I then noticed a place circling the area I live in. It had beams of light and was circling very quick. One plane became two. Two became three, and as I moved to the other side of the house I saw one plane hovering above the trees. A friend in lavenham can see it too.

Around five ive minutes ago all of the planes suddenly left. The lightning is switching from a blue colour to orange over and over. It's scaring me so much, and I'm terrified. Now the lights are really quick, really bright and they keep moving between being close and far away. If this is a storm, this is weird. I know we are meant to have like 10 years of weird weather soon, because of solar activity, but that's not for a few years.

Wish I'd gone to sleep earlier...

Edit- From what I can tell, it isn't aliens. It's a magnetic storm. The thunder and rain just kicked in, and the planes were circling because they can't fly through. It causes circuit failure.

Still, doesn't explain how so many were in such small spaces, and how one was hovering.

well that was awkward...someone saw a email they shouldn't (no idea how) and I just had to explain that yes that was wrong and unprofessional blah blah but I 100% REFUSE to apologise for a bully who has hurt and made every single persons life in this workplace miserable at one point or another. I know this person means well with their "Thats not how we move forward as a team" speech but thats very easy to say when you haven't experienced the things the rest of us have. You haven't sat crying in someone's office while the manager that allows this behaviour to go on tells you "thats just the way she is, you just have to get used to it" NO. I refuse to "get used" to someone abusive toxic behaviour. If the powers that be won't put this person in their place I will defend myself and stand my ground as it's pretty fucking obvious no one else will do it for me. I will gladly put my butt on the line and told them I'm sorry it upset you but I stand behind every word I said. All I can be is honest and this individual has said ALOT worse about me and many others here. I have plenty of ammo to fire back. Oh and my supervisor knows all this anyway - as she's been a victim of her bullying too so shares my sentiments...so yeah. Just wait till it happens to you then my words might mean something. Totally didn't need this on a friday! /eats cake supervisor gave her ^.^

Oh my god... I found a friend on Facebook, a friend I haven't spoken to for about 6 years. I still have all of our letters we used to write to one another when we were younger. I sent her a friend request and a message but I'm so scared she won't want to speak to me since we lost contact. :/ Neither of our faults really, life just happened and we... never spoke, I guess. But I did this a few years ago with two other friends of mine, who are dating now, one of them was happy enough to speak to me again and add me on Facebook, the other for some reason wanted nothing to do with me. :/ But it wasn't my fault. I didn't decide to one day stop speaking to them, I had school, I was moving about a lot, I was busy, as were they, and we just forgot to speak. But Melody was my best friend at one point in my life so it'd hit me hard if she didn't want to speak to me. :/

I used to be very good at drawing. I could draw virtually anything or anyone I looked at. But during uni I pretty much stopped drawing all together. Now I would really like to take up the pencil once more, but I'm afraid to as I don't want to see how much my skill has declined. I should have kept drawing, even though I was pressed for time and distracted by other things. I should have nourished my skill. It's one of my big regrets.

Also I hate stumbling upon a mystery that I'll never get the answer to!
