what languages do you know?

I thougt i'd make a topic were we can talk about what if any languages you know etc maybe even talk about why you learned them?

Well english is my main one haha but seeing as my mums from sweden shes been makeing my bro and me learn Swedish been doing it since like i was 8 or so and i'll be 20 end of july and i still am pretty bad at it! well i find it easyer to talk in it than to read and write in it.

Swedish and English fluently, enough Dutch to talk to people without any bigger troubles, and a tiny bit of German.

I used to be rather fluent in French since I had to take it in school, but to be honest I've forgotten most of it.

Then I'm slowly learning Japanese, I know more of it than I do French now. x)

English and Spanish fluently, was thinking of taking Japanese in the fall if I had the time in college.

I speak English, and learnt French for 5 years in school (Which I stopped two years ago) and the only words I know are hello and jew...so yeah, French has practically left me and I learnt Spanish for 3 years and i'm awful at that too and the thing is I actually tried learning the Spanish!

So English, really bad at Spanish and two words in French. I also know a few words in Japanese, how to say hello in Chinese and i'm sure I can find a few Italian words from Assassin's Creed 2!

Oh, and i'm kind of fluent in 1337speak but I haven't used it in a while so I might be a little rusty...

I'm 15/16ths Norwegian, Born in Luxembourg, and Grew up in England, so I had to learn a few languages.

I speak fluent Norwegian and English, A fair bit of French and Spanish, and a little german.

Norwegian, Dutch and English, all pretty fluently, though my Dutch is deteriorating, from not having spoken or written it in nearly 10 years. I can understand both Swedish and Danish though my connection with the Norwegian language. And I can, just barely, get by in German.
