Should we ask Muffinus for a hint? Considering we know next to nothing?
I think he said at one point that he usually will not give hints. If this is a secret, which it may or may not be, then he most likely won't say anything that would help us.
I guess. But we don't really have any good lead at all as to where to go.

I mean, sure, Blood Troll themed, yes Zul is in it.

But otherwise it doesn't really tell us anything. It could take five years of non-stop random blood troll farming. It could be a 100% drop rate from G'huun on mythic only, it could be a secret like the Hivemind mount that is overly convoluted.

It could be anything, yes, and it could take a lot of trial and error for us to find where it comes from. When Gara was implemented, we were just told that the entire process of taming her was in the game. When Lalathin was added, we were just told that she was in the game somewhere. Unless there is a tremendous amount of pressure or if he decides to give us a hint, I'm not expecting one :/

We don't really know if it's ingame, though, do we?

I mean, I'm assuming it, since they added a way to fast-track to using it on the PTR from the Flaskataur. :P

Unless it is broken, I would hope that it is ingame :)

Yeah, I am assuming it is. It's just frustrating to not know anything, haha.

I missed this one!

Glimmerspine (Darkshore warfront) can be tamed even though it's level 121. This is significant because it has a unique, new look:

Shadowclaw is tameable as well (and 121) but doesn't have a unique look. It doesn't even have a look that even remotely resembles how it looks pre-BfA :P

So, the teal tallstrider went live sans orange feathers? Was there any talk of restoring it? Does anyone but me care?

Yes, it went live without the orange feathers. Yes, people care about it and attempts were made to try and get it fixed.

It went live just as the Red Hyena went live with it's paintbucket fur.
People care and people spoke up.
But it's too minor for a change.

Siggy under construction!

We had multiple threads, discussions, and attempts on the feedback forums at getting unfaithful model revamps changed, but so far there's been no luck in BfA unfortunately.

Not minor enough for the art team to omit it, apparently :(
Eef, just looked at the hyena. Yikes. I'm sorry.

I finally got in to check the Emerald Nightmare raid. The Infected Diemetradons are tameable, but not a new colour. The Frenzied Pterrodaxes are *probably* flagged tameable, but aren't in practice because they're wrongly classed as elementals. :/ If tamed they would have an unavailable colour: the classic pterrordax in grey.

I had to go tame this, just because it was above level XD

Yes. Alash'anir is 122 and is too high to tame as well. (The purple chimaera in Darkshore)

How do you tame him? I just tried, but was not able to tame him. He did not respond to taming. :(

I just tried and was able to start a tame on him. A couple things to try is to make sure you have an open pet slot. Also make sure you have aggro, as he can be fighting murlocs and targeting them.

Yeah, if the murlocs still have threat then the tame won’t work. Also, there’s a version of Glimmerspine that can randomly appear in the warfront assault instance, but I’m not sure whether that version is tameable or not.

No, that version is not tameable. It is the one I tried to tame first. Got him now, on the "normal" version.

The version fighting the murlocs is tameable. You just have to get threat off the murlocs/kill the murlocs first.
