Just in Uldum today and seems the Aqir Scarabs and Impalers at the south side of the map (where you heal Wastewander members) are showing up as Tamable now while the page beforehand use to be Untamable, might've been changed in the minor update this week, i'd post images but sadly im an idiot to figuring it out on my laptop so if someone else can confirm be great.

I can confirm that both of these are tameable on live today, as beetles and wasps respectively. Waiting for the Aqir Stingers to respawn to test them too.

Edit: Aqir Stingers are tameable too.

Edit 2: Aqir Goliaths are beasts but untameable.

Wait wait wait wait what?

Tameable without a big patch?

The Stingers (And impalers!) are tameable. I saw a dude tame the impaler, but he has no clue why he could. I still see them as aberrations.

EDIT: Corpse Swarmer, red wasps that spawn with the rare "Corpse Eater" are tameable. They're the only red Aqir wasp I've found so far.

Side note: while Corpse Eater (the rare) is not tameable and still an aberration, his little red bees he summons ARE tameable. I didn't manage to snag one because everyone AoEs but, just so you're aware, you could try. :)

EDIT: I had not cleared my cache before checking him so it's possible he is a beast, some people still see the aqir as aberrations without a cache clear.

Red wasp, yep! I got lucky and found a lone dude fighting Corpse Eater. I shot them down from him, and tamed one. Only red ones I've found so far. All the others are still untameable for me.

The rare "Qho" can be tamed too. Same beetle as the ones all over, but fancy name!

If anyone's experiencing trouble with taming these, or if they're still showing up as aberrations for you, try clearing your cache!

Glad i posted it then given how happy some folks are :D using a red one myself, i immediately went to Corpse Eaters area and saw them tamable, i also believe that rare has a shorter respawn timer now too (being a mount rare), can use both with Animal Companion for raiding too since it fits the theme.

The beetles don't show up in the stable, word of warning. Hold off on them for a bit just in case. Call pet shows an empty slot, but will summon the beetle, and the slot is legitimately empty in the stable.

This is great. It seems a bit all over the place right now, but that's undoubtedly because they did the best with what they had without actually creating a whole new patch. I hope they do a more nuanced sweep by 9.0/Shadowlands pre-patch and the Aqir Goliaths become tameable as well, as well as the 7.3.5 Silithids and more colors of the scarabs.

For now, I'm really happy that they changed this after patch 8.3 was already deployed.

I definitely feel like this was a bit rushed out, but I'm not complaining. :) In fact I'm thrilled that they were thoughtful enough to do something like this when usually new tames are reserved for a bigger patch. Hopefully they fine-tune some things in later weeks.

Still crossing my fingers for the colossi...they were changed to beasts but, I haven't found a tameable one.

Clearing the cache folder helped, and now I see all the beasts as they should be. Still, I'm gonna stick with the Corpse Swarmer as my wasp of choice. Wish the red armored beetle was somewhere too.

R'krox the Runt is not tamable.

Lord Aj'qirai is not tamable.

Goliath Hatchling is not tamable.

Titanus Young is not tamable.

Aqir Goliath is not tamable.

Thanks for checking, Valnaaros.

Ever since Veph has been excited about them and Wain put them on the poll, I've been gradually growing more excited about the Aqir Goliaths, so I hope they eventually make it in. Be that via a stealth push in a maintenance a week, a few weeks, a month, a few months from now, or 9.0 pre-patch.

And of course, always holding out for my three 7.3.5 Silithus buddies which I'm still craving for.

None of that takes away from my happiness that we did get Aqir, and so quickly, though.

Happy to help :)

I'm checking all known Goliaths, but nothing so far. I checked the Silithids are they are not tamable.

I'm absolutely in LOVE with them. As soon as I found out, I dropped everything and flew straight to Uldum to pick one up. He's so tiny it cracks me up watching him tank massive elites.

Omg where you find a tamable black one? went to look at the Stingers at the Obelisk of the Moon and they were still Abberations, also do the wasp ones cause that weird stable bug?

EDIT: Nvm it seems only some of the Aqir Stingers are tamable and others are not? Black Wasps are at the southwest of the map in the infested area and the Obelisk ones are untamable.
