Tame glitch pets?

Are you able to tame pets with visual bugs in classic? Like fire pig and others? I remember doing it with live with some revive macros and some timing. Didn't know if this was doable in classic.

Fire pig wasn't introduced until the Cataclysm revamp of the tauren starting area, and I'm not sure if there were many other pets with visual effects back in Vanilla. None that come to my mind at least. I'm not sure if it would be possible, and the tame beast cast was much much longer.

Grimtotem spirit Guide was a thing done in Burning Crusade with the assistance of haste gems and such.
Otherwise, taming them fast enough was not possible.
I intend to try anyways, as I love my grimtotem Spirit Guide.. But chances are that it wont be possible to do because we wont have much in the way of haste increasing stuffs.

Its a windserpent, part of a horde q chain. Came with a cloud around him/her.

Never gonne forget that one because that mob dropped a blue cloak for me.
