Could Garwal ( wolf npc that turns into worgen ) be tameable at the moment?

Hey there! I am not playing classic atm but I since forever I have always wanted that pet ( it's an old story ) and could never take it because it was fixed.
Basically there's a questline in one of the wotlk territories that ends up with you having to kill a wolf npc called Garwal, this npc turns into a worgen at a specific % of health. During actual wotlk era, some hunters discovered that if you were to dot him, cast tame beast and finish the tame in the exact splitsecond he turned into a worgen, you'd obtain an actual worgen pet. This got fixed later, but I don't know if the people who had already tamed it got to keep it or not. In any case, we know for a fact that some stuff that got fixed in wotlk patches might not be fixed as of this exact moment. An example is the exploit a streamer used to get world first level 80. The xp exploit was 14y old and was long fixed, but isn't fixed on live.

PS: If you've already done the quest you won't be able to see the npc again ever, even if you find a guy who's on the quest.

UPDATE: A player contacted me on discord and said they tried to tame Garwal but he is untameable at any stage, which means its fix is probably applied to current patch.

This Oozeling was once tameable and counted as a Crokolisk. It got fixed later but who tamed him got to keep him. Please try and let me know!
