It looks like Blizz is very inspired by Classic and is adding things to SL that were popular then, like sharpening stones, weapon oils, and armor kits.

In regards to new character customization, humans will have new eye options, including blind and heterochromia. Female humans will have eye shadow and lipstick options. Blood Elves will have darker skin tones, new hair colors including a realistic black, and hair jewelry.

Blood Elves will also get new eye color options, including partially blind, void eyes, and quel'dorei eyes. Red eye glow is also an option for those that want to pretend to be a Dark Ranger.

Male Night Elves might be able to has blue eyes. There will also be options for sandy blonde, black, and pink hair.

Blood Elves got the High Elf eyes. COULD just be an option in the editor for NPCs only, or it might actually be an option that players can use.

Also, read the comments when you get the time. Some funny things there, especially that guy who called them Sunwell-Done. I'm totally reserving that name for my next alt.

The comment sections for anything to do with the new blood elf skintones have been pretty gross imo. :/ I'd say it's better to stay away than subject yourself to all the thinly veiled racism.

I'm personally overjoyed they finally got these customizations. Finally some of my characters can look the way they're supposed to, it really does suit them well.

I personally don't have interest in the new skin tones, but I'm glad there's new options. Blood Elves have always been one of the less visually appealing races, at least to me. I can barely stand my Void Elf main lol. As for the comment section, I can handle reading dumb opinions. I'm never bothered by any color talk. I just like to laugh at people trying to defend their empty opinions, but I find gems like that sunwell-done thing which make up for the waste of time.

Now, they gotta show some Draenei action. If I see red skin, I'm going to flip my lid.

I can't tell on the males, but the tail length on the females is way longer and looks so much better. Hopefully males will get longer tails too. Like all the new colors!

I think my only beef is this is core race stuff, while my main is a Lightforged, they desperately need more colors.

It was a while ago (may have been an interview just after Blizzcon), but Blizz said that they do not intend to add anything for Allied Races. Also, anything they consider adding they first run by the lore team to see if it fits within the lore.

The longer tail for draenei females isn't new. It was added in WoD, just never made usable. Now, they did say they plan to add tail length options in Shadowlands for draenei females, but I sure do hope they go beyond just making an old option available and actually add a myriad of new options. With different scales, jewellery on them, etc.

I believe they said in the interview I mentioned previously that there will be jewelry options for hair and tails :)

Looks like there's going to be work in creating a new faction and race intros for the Horde with the ones Wowhead shared being clarified as place holders that need some polishing:

I never minded the bones, I just found it irritating that clothing was modified so that they always showed.
