I just realized that Mawrats use the old wolf animations. That means that they can dance! Or well, they can HOPEFULLY dance! I doubt toy copying works, as it never does, but if someone grabs a maw rat, use the Piccolo of Dancing Flame to see if it dances like wolves and cats!

You think? I'd argue that Anzu being tameable is on the same level as a lot of these Cloud Serpents.

I somehow missed Mammoths are tameable, I love how big he is

Off topic: I think I've only seen Tukemuth one time on live in my whole WoW career.

Confirmed, they do dance!

He still may not have really thought about it when Anzu was made tamable. In reality, we really do not need Anzu to be tamable. We have Blaithe, so Anzu could be made untamable again.

In all honesty, I feel like we probably put more thought into the lore implications of tames than the devs do. I'm not saying they don't care, but in all likelihood they're just trying to give us some cool models to tame and for convenience they just let us have them.

This is basically my view. When they let us tame Nalak, I don't think they're intending to have it be an implication that we're having a downsized Nalak on our side. More so that it's just one avenue for us to have a Thundering Cobalt Cloud Serpent flying besides us. Same for Anzu and Blaithe, and Rukhmar.

So far, none of the Greater Groms are tamable and are not a part of any family. The basic Gorms are tamable. The Gormlings are not tamable and are not in any family.

It's a shame. The gormlings should definitely be tameable. We have literal battle pet models in the caterpillars, so it's not too much to ask for more grubby worms. I really want a gormling too. Greater Gorm is a never-ever wish, but since kunchongs and aqir goliaths are available now, it's not TOO much to ask for.

I’m still praying for matriarchs to be tameable, if not, I’ll be disappointed

I am glad that the new Ram model also got the updated goat animations. I hope that the Ram and goat mounts also get this animation. It always drove me crazy how weirdly the front knees bent on live.
I still have hopes that the newer boar models will be upgraded to a new animation too cause I cant stand to use them with the direhorn skeleton.
I am soo happy that we have tamable horses. I hope they add the dark bay with white socks(just hopefully with them fixing the messed up white texture at the end of the tail). Still hoping for a mount version of this one too and a dark chestnut one.
I am in the no Beta Club but hopefully I can get an invite soon.

Quick question on the Corsairs-specifiacally the horses.

I play as a void elf female, and when I have a summoned dreamrunner out I cannot use it as it is far too small (in my opinion) to actually be 'a horse' if that makes sense? Its bothered me since they became tameable and I've not used mine though I love the model

Do the horses scale properly and look like real horses in game, or are they shrunk down to a size that looks incorrect?

Horses seem to remain somewhat big. Wain posted a good example next to a female Forsaken.

Since undead beasts come out, maybe the skeletal horse could be in the coursers, there’s no reason to leave them out, I’m wondering if the maldraxxus beasts will require the tome

Though I'm unfamiliar with what language that is, I can definitely tell it keeps its name. Glad to see that.

Reban is confirmed! Unfortunately T'zala is a mount for the boss and cannot be tamed, or even Beast Lored.

Aroim and I were able to clear Kings Rest together. :D

German!

And yeah, that rare mobs and tamed bosses keep their names (in most cases) is one of those underrated new features, too, I feel.
