That’s nice, once I’ll get the toy, I’ll try to find pets that can be tamed with it

This may not be a new pet, but it got a nice upgrade, the grand nightsaber models now use the druid cat animations, hopefully the darkshore mounts and pantharas will follow up soon with the update, not only they gave it an update, but this is the first cat in the cat family to recieve it, everything else that has the druid skeleton are in other families, I am very grateful for finding this out, hopefully I can get more people to tame it, the other good part is it still has running animations while it prowls, happy hunting :)

Is this in live?
Went and tamed one to compare to my other cats.

Loque'nahak, spirit beast tiger, Skaar, Legion lizard cats looks to move about the same-though I am seeing him do a bite animated attack that the grandsaber does not do. Running wise they look identical.

Some people can’t tell the difference between Druid cats and regular cats animations, but the running and walking look so much more realistic

It is a graphical bug. This was discovered about a month or so ago and reported, but hasn't been fixed yet.

The chimaera mounts in the mount journal still have the black base with the different wing colors, but, that really sucks, hopefully they get fixed during release

I've added a note to the models and looks pages to indicate the chimaera appearance bug, i.e.: https://www.wow-petopia.com/family.php?id=chimaera

It's been reported a few times and hopefully it should be an easy thing to fix - under the assumption it's due to a single flag being switched on in the model, which is usually what causes this.

I remember when the same things happened to the basilisks when they all turned olive green, I never played legion on retail, but I saw the threads and played ptr before I decided to get membership during BFA

Did anyone ever manage to source the location of the undead taming tome in the end? Or will it be something we will only discover on live?

Sadly, no. At this point we're unsure if it's attainable or if it's bugged.

I’m going to name my pets based off dead characters from Disney and real life, and make their story that they ascended to bastion aka heaven

Almost all the things I want to tame are quest mobs, since I like the name retaining stuff. Gonna be absolute hell for me.
