My only complaint regarding the new teroclaw variants is that the Hen Chicks, following Hen-Mother Hami, aren't the yellow ones. Feels odd that they still use the original colors.

It seems wowhead hasn't been updated to show any new changes yet. It's worth checking any random NPC for new skins, at least until their database is updated to show new models on the ptr.

It will usually take a few days before Wowhead updates with that sort of information.

Yeah, but it'd be nice to have all of the mysteries solved now instead of later. Not sure how it'd be helpful since we'd have to manually sift through every beast that way, but it'd still be nice to counter all this disconnecting.

I’m still wondering if there are more beasts to check on like maybe there is a new variant of horse with maybe a long mane or a short mane, and I hope older dreamrunners get that new attack animation from the SL dreamrunners

surprising to absolutely nobody, the plant hydras in Draenor are still, sadly, not tameable. Also still elemental. If we can get a book to tame a single style of stone hound, where is my guide to bestial botany? Another thing sadly remains on my bucket list of things that may never happen.

I forgot to mention the crawg devourers are now flagged aberrations, and I’m sad about them, hopefully in a build or two, soul eaters, skeletal horses, and beavers and armadillos will be added, soul eaters in warp stalkers, skeletal horses in coursers(obviously), beavers in rodent, and for armadillos, I’m not sure where we can fit them

Highlands Eireflys now use the unused Red w/ Yellow Glow variant, though you can hardly tell the difference.

I’m not surprised these are now being used, I wonder how people are going to react seeing the unused stocky riverbeast colors after many years unless we try searching

Not as impressive as a new skin, but "Count" Ungula finally retains his name when tamed.

Probably the new coolest name retain, it has the apostrophes

Quotation marks. Apostrophe is just one slash, while quotation has two. Still, I agree. Hyphens and numbers are old and busted. Now I just gotta find the list of NPCs that don't retain the name to check all of them.

Man, I'm sad. I guess we're not getting Devourers as a family- period.

I wouldn't say that. Since Slitherwings and Gromits have not yet been given a family, it is still possible.

We thought the same for several other creatures, and they became tameable at some point. There's nothing strictly saying we will never get them. Don't forget that void stalkers were initially aberrations, as well as that one green wolf. There was also a big surprise when we could suddenly tame hydras, and when Chimaeron was tameable. Things can change, and it's only a matter of when.

Myeah, period is too much I guess. But if they're corrected from beasts to abberations (unless Blizzard plans to add in a similar mechanic as for undead pets where they're flagged undead but still tameable), then it's likely that they're not slated to be made tameable during Shadowlands itself, at least.

Also very true. We have gone very long periods before OBVIOUS tames were allowed, such as the aforementioned undead as well as your signature's statement (which is a tad outdated now, don't you think?). Nothing is ever final except for death, and so long as Activision is cracking the whip, that won't happen any time soon.

It looks like all of the mites in Maldraxxus are now classified as humanoids instead of beasts.
