Re: Chains of Domination PTR is up!
Right now they are just adding and refining things. Two of the three new beasts in Korthia are not in a family yet, and even things like the Maw Roach are not in their usual family.

Re: Chains of Domination PTR is up!
posted this to confirm green exists, it looks so lifelike, in an undead way compared to the darker colors, i think the green is my favorite besides black with green eyes, its perfect for a rotting undead themed character, the white ones also look good, this one is just better
Re: Chains of Domination PTR is up!
Agreed on the green tauralus!
I’m glad hoppers have a more distinct name now. And gromit seems like it suits them.

Can anyone check up on the azerite shale worm inside the motherlode? It had the same bug as the crystal scorpids if I remember correctly. This skin is hard to get, as the tameable worms are locked behind azerite quests.
Re: Chains of Domination PTR is up!
Yup! It retains its name too Which is odd, since it's not a unique or rare creature, but cool anyway

Re: Chains of Domination PTR is up!
Saves the few seconds of having to rename it after taming. Good to know it's properly tameable!
EDIT: Hot take, but I think ALL tameable beasts should retain their name. Just, you know, let people do the first rename without a certificate. A fair compromise, I'd say.

Re: Chains of Domination PTR is up!
It was like that in BFA, I don’t understand why In SL, they had to remove the rename from the creatures that retain their names, i don’t want to pay gold just so I can rename a unique creature that retains its name, but ever since they added that in BFA, I fell in love with the concept, but anyway, I hope Blizz will revert to the 8.1.5 stateWerebearGuy wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 1:06 pm Saves the few seconds of having to rename it after taming. Re: Chains of Domination PTR is up!
Poor Wain. He's got so much work to do with all these changes we've had this patch. Not to mention the stuff from the last patch, unless he already got that done. We really are getting spoiled this time around.
Re: Chains of Domination PTR is up!
I'm just updating the database now. The hardest part was actually modifying Petopia to better represent the situation of "upcoming additional look to an existing tameable", since that's so common in this patch. The rest isn't so bad, especially since most changes follow our suggestions list and I can run through that and check things off!WerebearGuy wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 10:24 pm Poor Wain. Re: Chains of Domination PTR is up!
just tamed a nighthold scorpid to see how it is, but look at the huge size difference compared to a normal amber scorpion, the things i love are the huge size, and the cool summon animation, the things i really dislike is obviously missing its stinger cuz it is a different model than amber scorpions, and it uses its walking animation as it's run, and i hate fast walkers, like core hounds, and i hope it will be given normal running animations cuz it will be my new go to ferocity pet

Re: Chains of Domination PTR is up!
@Val, did you find people to do islands with, or is it a solo queue thing now? I want to do islands too, they were the most fun I had in BfA besides getting a random pug mythic run that led to me getting that ugly water elemental I never use.
@worg, I agree about all the flaws you pointed out. While I personally don't mind if they keep the Nighthold scorpids in their hilariously broken state, I do want to see the full model as a pet. I mean, there really wasn't any reason to put all those parts on as different models in the first place. I'm going to be bold and say that was a stupid design choice since those broken parts never disappear from that model when it's an NPC, nor do they do anything separate. MAYBE something minuscule changes on Skorpyron, but all the times I ran in and didn't get to tame it, I never saw anything break off when doing the fight. Here's hoping we get the fixed models soon, and here's to my hope of keeping at least one broken one somewhere.

Re: Chains of Domination PTR is up!
If you have any info on instance tames, could you please post it to this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=62&t=26552
We need to know which have and haven’t been fixed, and also any that are missing from the list. They probably weren’t fixed if they weren’t on the list.
Thanks!

Re: Chains of Domination PTR is up!
I found others. You can't solo queue.
