Am I the only one that does this? I like to collect some of the pet/mini combinations. Anyone else here a rabid minipet collector too I like trying to get the rares lined up. Doing a common dragonhawk and getting the common minipet just doesnt do it for me (one exception), but getting some rare pets/minipet combos is something I really like doing.

Below are just some examples (gull is the exception, as its relatively common, but gulls are boss). My collector nature would try and get me to get all the combos on my hunter but i dont have enough stable slots. If i had like.. idk 25 more, I probably would XD

Gabriel my red fox is my current obsession. ive been trying daily for that fox kit. here he is sniffing around trying to find it too. THE GRIND MUST GO ON!

Where do you get the mini Aotona? Too cute!

I've been wanting to do this but haven't had time to look up many of the pets yet.

Uber-rare drop from any mob in STV--the Hyacinth Macaw. ...Oh...and so THAT'S why I see people killing the foxes in Tol Barad. I was a very confused hunter.

I do the team-up as well. For quite a while, each of my pets had a corresponding 'baby'. There's quite a few that don't have a matching 'partner' now, but I still usually try and run around with the closest possible.

Blue Dragonhawk = Blue Dragonhawk
King Krush = Ravasaur Hatchling
White Serpent = Cobra Hatchling
Arcturis = Baby Blizzard Bear (one of those where I have to 'stretch' it)
Chromaggus = Core Hound Pup
Panzer = Speedy (I had real fun with this combination in the Tortolla's hatchling quest)

... and others, but those are the only ones that come to mind without being logged in.

Snagged the minipet component of this "team" mostly so I could always have my bear running around with me even when I wasn't using a tenacity pet, but still. I love 'em!!

I team Terror Spinner and the spider pet from BRD and OCJ with the worg pup from the same quest giver.

One of my guildies has the orange striped cat to go with her tiger. It is amusing because so often when she stops moving around her pet Tiggeress is standing over the cat protectively.

Another one has the polar bear and the baby blizzard bear, though she despairs on ever getting the mount.

@Kurasu I so had to get speedy out when I did that quest line as well. Me and Spirit(person I was plying with) carefully worked on lining them all up to take a picture.

I have one such team. I actually didn't have it planned, but I haven't been able to fall in love with any raptor skins so I decided to pick up a serpent. I've always liked the way the mini-pet looked and went and tamed the big version of it. Fell in love with her right away.

parent/baby teams I have:
white bear, corehound, white cat, and Gundrak Raptor, which matches Two baby models

same model teams I have:
seagull, fox, sporebat, crab, shale spider

ones I used to have:
brown eagle, green/red parrot, blue dragonhawk (just didn't click with the hunter pet), purple nether ray (liked green better), serpent (had to make room for spirit beast), spider (keep taming different models, think I have a problem!), black/grey striped cat (prefer white), red moth (changed to beige), pink tallstrider (replaced with fox), yellow And purple fireflies , black wolf (replaced with devilsaur), yellow scorpid (changed to brown Madexx), green turtle (changed to Ghamoo-ra)

I've also seriously considered Aotona off and on for a while, as I have the hyacinth macaw, but finding out that she can't be bothered to do tricks has made me lose interest.

I tend to have Mocha (Bjarn) and the Baby Blizzard Bear out on my Dwarf Hutner Keae. Fits her white pet theme and looks freaking adorable.

Terrorpene + Speedy ( speedy hasnt... "matured into fire turtle of doom yet")
Red Proto Drake mount + Proto drake hatchling ( i know not a pet xD )

and i am sure i have more i just seriously cant think of them atm... i do want to get a serpent to match my serpent mini pets.... CURSES not having any wow time left >.> I need to get to fox kit, and jadefang mini pet as well...

and that fox kit is dumb rare (ive killed in the neighborhood of 7000 of them) from the baradin foxes in tol barad, little red fox mini pet.

and its BOP, so if someone has it, they either were lucky or put in the work to get it.

i have kinda prided myself on every rare pet/mount i have has been personally farmed/camped. not that it makes me any better than anyone else, i just like the sense of accomplishment. i put in over 20,000 kills over my wow lifetime for the hyacinth, man that pet is... gah. anywayz, raptor pets, whelps, i just like the satisfaction of doing it manually. guildies think im nuts, and theyre right, the amount of time ive put into it i could have made the gold and just bought the things, but that wasnt the point. oh well XD

Oh my, that's cute. But honestly, I wish it had a "younger" appearance. I dunno, a bit stockier, bigger eyes, something like that. Still, very cute!
