Female Worgen Are Ugly (Image Warning)

About to do my back-up for the week but did a quick blue (Oh abomination anatomy, ho!) over to have a look at a few things. I put Evai my Draenei shaman beside just for comparsion. Mean we always knew the base model was the same but it is interesting to compare side by side.

So yeah seems a bit is out of kilter right now. Moving the brow line slightly got rid of the fearful look and messed with the nose a little as there is still a definately feline vibe... and for the less "Where the hell to noses go, on the top right?" I'm getting right now. The ears seem slightly out of placement too so hopefully that'll be straightened out.

The chest and waist though, yikes. The left boob has indeed randomly slid up the shoulder Oo The waist still looks distorted even with it back where it should be. I just moved Evai's screenie (And resized to fit of course) over in my file since I still have it open... What I think has happened is the waist is still very tied to the Dranei size and they messed with the bust causing this warp. Odder still there's a lack of curve on the right below the ribcage.



Welp I've sated my curiousity at any rate, just gonna hope they're still fiddling with it

I think if they messed with the model and the facial structure the skin would look better placed over it.. that said.. something DOES need to happen with those eyes..

Hm. Well they're clearly not finished. I like that we have an ear customisation for them. All in all, I'm excited about the changes, but yeah, definitely not done.

Yeah, I still get the feeling that the wireframe is still being tinkered with. And if not, it will be. There's a looooot of people complaining about this one :3

Speaking of the model, I ended up doing a few doodles at the D&D table tonight of what I'd like our worgen faces to look like. (Please excuse some glaring errors, it is a gaming table doodle after all)
I love the fact that her mane just looks like a mass of tangled hair, I think that works well. Just a shame about the rest XD I made her a little bit more toothy to help match with the current males too.

The eyes bug me too. The 1st word to come to my mind when I saw it was "Banshee". I hate the messy "mane/fur/hair" on them. But a definite improvement on the older, stupid "model" for nasty "sexy" Worgen females.

The whole face bugs me. Saw TB's video and it's looking like I may just roll a male worgen instead of a female.
Her eyes are bugged out
Her nose seems to thin for the width of her face

There was one color that didn't seem to make things look as bad but I think Blizz needs to go back to the drawing board on this. Again.

I don't think the old ones were 'sexy'--my issue was (and always has been) the facial structure. And it's still the same.

That said, I do like the OVERALL effect of the new skins: something that actually looks scary coming after you rather than a two-dollar whore that ran through a haunted house and came out on the other side with some fur glued on.

Pros: I like the natural eyes, the snarl, the colors and the mane. Very much approve of these. Granted the overall expression looks a little "crazy-eyes" but hey, I like it far better than the purple glowsticks jammed into her eye sockets.

Cons: The facial structure still needs tweaking; the stop is still far too pronounced, but it doesn't look as bad as it did IMO. I think that the ears look downright silly, but I'm not sure he went through all the options in that vid--hopefully there's something more upright or small/rounded, naturalish.

Overall I think it's a step in the right direction, and depending on the animations, I'd actually roll one now. But there's still room for improvement I think.

Just if they add a few non-snarly faces and different eye colors, I would be glad to roll a female worgen. I wanted a feral worgen myself. Worgens aren't sexy. They should be "ugly."

If they smooth out the body and tweak the facial structure a bit, I'd be much happier. I prefer a more feral look for them myself. Just...I really, really hate the deformed Chihuahua skull they have now.
