I was just curious as to what that was all about, when checking out someone's profile.
What perks are there to making someone your "friend"? And does selecting someone as your "foe" act as an ignore list or something? Was just wondering, because I don't see any list of friends on anyone's profile, either.
thanks

Re: Friend/Foe option
i really dont see any advantages of this system but its fine as long as it doesnt affect the forums too much
Re: Friend/Foe option
I had to go and look this up.
You can see a list of your friends who are online, which is useful for boards with hundreds of people online at once but not so much here. Apparently you can also configure private messages so that PMs from friends are handled differently, but I didn't look into that very much.
And the posts of people on your foes list are hidden, so it is pretty much like an ignore list.

Re: Friend/Foe option
Though it's not implemented on these forums, sometimes when you have someone on your friends list that person's posts will be highlighted.
Also, the foe list works pretty much like 'ignore' as far as I know - you won't see any of that person's posts.
EDIT: And Mania beat me to it.
