On a side note, we now have a guild made up for the event. The guild is named <Has A Jar Of Dirt>. We have enough tabards and enough gold to buy more tabards if needed at this time, based on my current estimates.

I guess I'll be nice and let someone else do the Running of the Gnomes to claim the prize. I'll get my DK out of their starting area, and punt -- er, babysit the gnomes. Yeah, that's right. Babysit. No punting involved ... for now.

My DK's name is Hecatae, btw. I kind of got lost from the group last week.

I just know that Rohm (my bf) is going to LOVE the name of the guild! He actually has a Jar of Dirt in RL (actually it's a jar of beach sand that I brought back for him from my trip to Florida, but he still loves it)

Update. I'm sorry, but I can't make the guild event tonight. I've been busy trying to sort stuff out at school (had to drop one class, need to apply for another so I can graduate on time), so I've had like no time to level my DK out of the starting area. I've barely had time for the Headless Horseman dailies. You know how it is, RL has to come first.

It was very fun. I plan to have another event in a few weeks that will be similar, but with tweaks to make it a better experience for all.

Gnome Rexiah reporting in. I was on Pinks and Needsahug's team. I was gnome runner #1. And we won!!!

It was so much fun. I was lol-ing something fierce and let me tell you the ganking was heavy. Running to the finish with Pinks was also great fun.
My friend who also came along really loved it.

Those who missed out make it for the next gnome relay race. You will not be disappointed. I'm sorry I didn't take any screen shots.

It was a blast except for the thing with using the Hearthstone. Maybe in future events the ability to use a Hearthstone to get back to an area should be defined in the rules to not cause any confusion? Or then again just saying "get to the other point any way possible except using a Spirit Healer" could cover everything.

This event was really fun.
I was on the 2nd place team. I was the first runner on my team.

I was Tinevin, because I'm lazy and let the randomizer pick names for me.

I was on a team with Shinri and Fredgeek. I ran the last leg for the third place team.

I had a good time and would definitely participate in similar future events. I think I actually made up some ground and narrowly missed catching up at the end, but was one shotted by some stupid dragonkin at the base of the ramp and got back to my corpse just in time to hear the second place team had finished.

It was a lot of fun though. Everybody should definitely take part in the future. Srsly, all y'all need to get in on this.

darn! I got called away to a family event...well family-in-law...I'd rather have run as a gnome...
