New Worms?

Sorry if there is already a topic for this, or I'm posting in the wrong place, but I'm new to these forums.

Anyway, I've noticed (and I'm sure everyone has) a new form of worm in seen in Kezan known as the Tunneling worm.
Despite the fact that it is somewhat more elemental/mechanical looking, it is categorized as a beast.

Whether it's tamable is still unknown, but it is looking to be impossible even if it were tamable seeing as there is no way to learn tame beast on the island as the hunter trainer doesn't offer it, and it's impossible (or perhaps simply near impossible) to get to level 10 while on the first island.

This seems to be the only appearance that I personally have seen for this worm too (though my friend assures me he's seen them elsewhere).

mostly I would just like to know why these aren't in the database, but also I would like to know if anyone has seen them elsewhere.

EDIT: upon further inspection I have found that they are the same species as the Gyreworm found in Deepholm (guess my friend was right :b).

it also seems that (according to the wiki) these are also beasts (though it fails to alleviate whether this is a mistake on blizzards part or not, or whether it is tameable...)

anyway, if anyone else gets any info on these please let me know! they are really cool, and I would dig having one for a pet! (no pun intended) :b

We've been keeping an eye on the Gyreworm types for a while now, but so far none have been tameable. The ones in Kezan would be impossible to obtain in any case as Worms are exotic pets, and you can't go back to the Goblin areas after leaving them.

aww, so sad.... they still aren't on the site though. I guess that's cause they're on the fence for the whole beast/elemental thing?

If gyreworms are made tameable in the future, at least there's a rare orange one in Deepholm that could be made available. If so, it'd be the only available one of that colour. There are already red and green ones accessible in Deepholm. I don't think anyone's seen the purple skin anywhere.

Most are., A couple (including that rare spawn I mentioned) still aren't. If they ever became tameable I'm sure they'd fix those up as well.
