"No, I'm sorry. All I've seen is a wing-snake and some people and elf-things." Epidormi's Devilsaur was still very accented; she wasn't a dino in origin, after all, and her raptor form was...lacking.

"No, I haven't seen any dragons. Only things at all unusual here are Deadlock - she's my wind serpent, and she's nice if she knows you - and..." She paused for a moment; Epidormi certainly couldn't go by that name. It was a dragon's name! "Hurricane. I happened to "liberate" her from the Horde back when I was travelling the Barrens..." She turned to Deadlock. "Deads, is the dino friendly? You can talk to 'Cane, right?"

Deadlock nodded and after some quick, hissing discussion with the dragon-disguised-as-a-raptor, nodded. "Yeah. She says he's really quite nice."

[Azunara]

Azu and Kozri

Azunara gave a grin, "Yeah. No dragons here, sorry to disappoint. I suggest Dragonblight if you're looking for dragons." Kozri watched the devilsaur and the night elf carefully. Neither of them seemed unusual, so his disguise would hold, hopefully.

Indigosa--Sholazar

Indi was the only one of the group not to jump up at the intrusion of the Devilsaur and his hunter. She had remained laying in the grass waiting to see what would happen.
"If you're a dragon hunter, I suggest you move along," she said coldly.

Alarial--Sholazar

The Devilsaur startled Alarial when it charged through the bushes, but she thought its attempt at a wave was adorable and was happy when the new hunter said they were friendly.

[Deathadder]

Deathadder / Chomper- Sholazar

The devilsaur looked a bit saddened by the response from the raptor. He really wanted to see one.

Deathadder looked up at the devilsaur. "It would appear that your nose is broken. I thought it a bit odd for there to be a dragon in the Basin."
Chomper snorted. "I know what a dragon smells like and that's what it was. Maybe it is just an old scent." He hung his head in disapointment.

Deathadder turned to face where Indigosa was laying. "A dragon hunter? No, far from it. My friend here just finds them very interesting. There are no dragons where he is from." Chomper gave a nod of agreement. "We are just taking a break from all the constant fighting we have been doing in the Citidel. It is peaceful here."

Deathadder looked over to the other hunter. To have a raptor as a mount was an impressive feat. But it did look a bit unusual. "If you do not mind me saying, your raptor seems a bit odd. I have not seen any like that in all my travels of Azeroth. A very rare and impressive find."

"I was quite lucky to capture her. You know, if you'd like a raptor we could run over to Zul'Drak some time and see if we couldn't "liberate" some of those Drakkiri ones...or my good friend Drassil could, anyhow, I seem to be perpetually busy with herbs!" She grinned and presented her Adder's Tounge. "This is actually why I was in the Basin."

"Oh, no worries. There are some of those old dragon things up in the North of this basin, maybe one flew over here?"

[Azunara]

Azunara and Kozri
Sholazar

Azunara nodded, "Yeah. Or maybe he mistook devilsaur for dragon? I heard there was one up around here." Kozri was quiet, trying to avoid adding himself to the conversation. He didn't mind the elf, but the devilsaur could smell him out and that was something he'd rather avoid.

Indigosa--Sholazar

Indi's face scrunched up at the mention of the Citadel. At least the bastard who had brought her into unlife lay dead now. She finally stood up, tossing a pebble up and down in one hand and sizing up the night elf and his dinosaur. "Sounds like your pet has a few things to learn about tracking...the trail's old. Or, as Azu said, perhaps he smelt the elusive devilsaur rumored to be around here."

"I know! I've been looking for the bugger for an age. Saw him once and nearly ended up dead!"

[Azunara]

((/facepalm. Geez. My fail. It's spreading to my typing, too...))

Azu and Kozri

Azunara tilted her head, stretching. "Well. Since I don't think we'll be leaving soon, since we keep getting ambushed, I'm just going to take a quick nap." She said, curling up in the sun. Kozri returned to his place by the tree, awake and watching.

Indigosa--Sholazar

Indi turned her head toward Kozri. This must be more awkward for him than at was for her. Being unable to use her dragon form, the situation was uncomfortable at best. For him, this must be near excruciating. Perhaps the reason she felt herself becoming more harsh was due to her recent running into things that reminded her of a past she had wanted forgotten. What would this be like for someone who still lived as a feared and awed creature?

Indi couldn't imagine. In her time, dragons learned freely from the mortals, and taught them freely as well (at least the blues did). Nervously she walked over to Kozri and lay a sympathetic hand on his shoulder, unsure of how else to convey her feelings to him.

Deathadder / Chomper- Sholazar

“You are most likely right. I had completely forgotten about the proto-drakes that made their nests near here. I don’t believe you would be able to have much of a conversation with them.”

Chomper gave a laugh. “Your right. They seem to be angry all the time too.”

“With all that went on, it completely slipped my mind that we have not introduced ourselves. I go by Deathadder. Not very elvish, I know. Sadly the name I was given has been lost to history.” He pointed over towards the devilsaur. “And this is my companion Chomper. Sorry again for all the trouble and confusion we caused you.”

Myragosa- Sholazer

It was good to spread her wings over the Basin again, but sadly it was nearing time to return to Icecrown. The undead that remained, as well as the Cult of the Damned, were not going to eradicate themselves. But first, she had to find the night elf.

Flying close to the Glimmering Pillar, she noticed a group of humanoids, along with her companion. This wasn’t good. Landing anywhere they could see her would cause a panic. Entering a climb, she head for the top of the Pillar to better survey the situation. From this height, no mortal eye could see her. There seemed to be a few interesting creatures down there. Several humanoids, some beasts, and….dragons.

The first looked very young, taking the form of a raptor. She let out a hollow laugh. It was far from perfect, but it would fool most. The other two looked much more experienced. The one that took the form of a Death Knight was particularly good. But something was wrong. She looked closer, and a mixture of emotions flowed forth at the realization that it wasn’t a form, but in fact undead like her self. She had not talked with another dragon for so long and this one seemed to suffer close to the same fate as she did. But the option of flying down to talk with her was still out of the question. Telepathy seemed the best way, but unless the other dragon could see her, they couldn’t converse between one another. She couldn’t let this chance pass her by.

Gripping the edge of the Pillar with her claws, so she was almost hanging over it, she focused all her energy to make contact. Success!

“Do not be afraid. My name is Myragosa. I have not talked with another of my kind in so long, and in you, I see my own pain and loss. If your eyes in that wretched form are able to see the top of the Pillar, you will understand.”

Azunara and Kozri

Kozri looked up at Indi and gave a slight, tense grin, nodding. He was edgy, the constant fear of being discovered and killed was rather nerve-racking. He sighed, watching them carefully. All he could do, short of scaring them away or killing them.

She nodded. "All they do is be mean. It's not very fun." Her eyes widened and she hissed several times to Deadlock.

Raydex, Deadlock

"Deathadder? No worries, I have a pretty weird - Deadlock, what's wrong?" The serpent was hissing and sparking again; though she was tempermental Raydex doubted it was nothing.

"Caine says there's something up there; something big. I can't make it out, but I don't like it."

"Is it the great green devilsaur that nearly killed me?" she asked, excited.

"...No. How would a devilsaur get up a pillar?"

Decay - Scholazar

Decay looked up, squinting. "The only flying thing big enough to be visible from up there...", she started

Azunara and Kozri

"Easy to find out what it is," Kozri said, and nudged the druid besides him. She snapped awake, leaping upright, ready to fight, before it dawned on her that they weren't under attack. "Hey, Azu?" Kozri asked, and the druid tilted her head. "Fly up there and check it out, okay?" Azunara flicked her tail in salute and took off, leaping into the air and shifting into her avian form mid jump. She circled the group, gaining momentum and finding a draft before spiraling up on the far side of the pillar, to try and be behind whatever would be up there.

[Deathadder]

Deathadder / Chomper- Sholazar

Almost at once there seemed to be a buzz of activity going on with the members of the group. He felt the Myragosas’ shard resonate within his bag. Had they detected her presence? If this were so, he would have his work cut out for him trying to talk them out of attacking. This wasn't good.

Chomper leaned closer to Deathadder. “Myra is close. I’m worried there might be a fight.”

“Me too.” he responded. The fostwyrm was smart. He knew she would escape if anything were to happen. But why was she here, so close to others? She has never gotten close enough for anyone to to see her. The undead were hunted with ruthlessness in Northrend after all.

[Azunara]

Azunara and Kozri

Azunara tilted her head, flapping up. Stupid pillar was really, really, high u-oh. Hi. She stopped, flapping her wings frantically as she hovered, close to the top. There was a frost wyrm perched up there. She was confused, and curious, though Kozri would probably want to know. "Koz! Found it, it's a frost wyrm. Doesn't seem to look too aggressive, though I'm not sure what it's doing. I'm going in." The human blinked from where he was, looking up the pillar. Huh. Frost wyrm. They were just attracting all sorts of odd critters, weren't they?

Indigosa--Sholazar

The mental message hit her like a...well, like a dragon. Indi held up a hand to the others. "Wait..." she said slowly, distracted. "I don't think whatever's up there means harm."

Indi began to panic, she had communicated telepathically in many many years, she wasn't even sure if she still could as a death knight. Even more amazing was that the voice who contacted her was a blue! She struggled to focus all her attention to where the message had come from.

I am Indigosa. How did you know I used to be a dragon?

Indi jumped on Khaz, sending the undead gryphon chasing after Azu.


Alarial--Sholazar

Alarial didn't know what to make of their current situation. Indi was behaving oddly and the others seemed on edge. She began a soothing chant in the hopes of keeping the others calm.

[Azunara]

Azunara and Kozri
Sholazar

Kozri nodded at Indi before she left, looking up at the pillar, settling back down. If it was going to hurt them, great.

Azunara had landed on the edge of the pillar. The Cultists normally there were gone. She guessed they ran when they saw the frost wyrm. She wheeled around as she saw Indi, head tilted, saying quietly, "What's wrong? It doesn't look too aggressive, and if it was I could've flown away."

Indi shook her head. "She's not dangerous...She's like me." Indi landed Khaz near Myragosa, still dazed and dumbfounded.
