I'm not sure if Jorna's going to fix it in the future, but I think she was made aware of it earlier.

She was. /pet will be gone again in 1.7.1, and this time forever. I wasn't sure if it is a good idea to keep it, but after some posts I think it is not. I myself don't really understand what is that great on Blizzard's built-in /pet, but I submit the opinion of the community.

By the way, I will add water elemental support with 1.7.1. They work just now with 1.7.0, but the grammar is a bit ugly. Same thing with hunter pets that have not yet gotten their final name. Jorna's Bear Bear... you know. Will be fixed soon.

New pet families (monkeys, foxes and so on) will also be supported by the Editor soon. I can't tell a release date, but it will be before December.

It's not so much that the Blizzard /pet is such a great emote; I personally just like the distinction of "pet" vs. "pat." Pat is shorter and pet includes a bit of a stroke (in my mind, anyway).

Hmm.. I think a hiss would sound better, IMO it fits more and, TBH, it's hard to make a ferocious moan. xD

Their noise isn't exactly a hiss, though; that was the only thing holding me back from saying hiss in the first place. Although if it sounds like a hiss to you, then maybe there's enough of a case for it (since the thought had occurred to me as well) in fact being a hiss...

I apologize if this was addressed in this thread, I didn't feel like reading through 21 pages to look for it.

Could someone please explain (or point me to a guide) on how to right your own custom emotes using the editor? I'm not very savvy with stuff like this, but if I could get a simple guide or explanation of how it works then that would be great.

So far I am loving the addon though, especially the corehound emotes!!

turtles:

"...headbutts his/her mistress/master affectionately."
"...nips his/her master/mistress on the leg affectionately."
