I tamed the Gorishi Fledgling Colossus and he can't attack anything and won't follow me. Also every once in a while I hear the sound effect for something landing on the ground.

Can't swim either.

He looks kind of fat and out of shape to me. You may want to consider putting him on a diet; he's probably just having issues lugging all that extra weight around.

Just the Colossus, I figured out it's a script on him that makes him stand still.

Ah, the weird 'thump' sound was a bug someone noticed back in the Beta, I guess they haven't fixed it yet. It usually startles me when I'm in Beta running around with Thalamus. xD

Actually it's not a thump the OP reported but the sound of someone landing/dismounting or well something. The sound is on live and it happens everywhere on everything almost. A mob zones in? Fwooshie noise. You pass something? Fwooshie noise. You loot a herb? Fwooshie noise. You swimming in the ocean? MORE FWOOSHIE NOISE. It is EVERYWHERE and is making me paranoid.

I am betting this specific bug is well bugging out because of what he is; a giant mostly immobile quest mob in the basin Crater. I have been unable to locate any of the other rare collosi and have no interest at all in the Brainbug on the Halfshell model. It disgusts and grosses me out to be frank.

I would try to get the AQ ones to test but alas... can't really solo the boss >_> his temper tantrums kill me faster than snot off a ducks back live so.. been testing other things on the PTR.


Hopefully they fix him like they did with Gezz and NOT make him untameable.

Ooh I see! Now that you mention it, I have noticed the dismount noises a lot in live. I thought I was just going crazy.

The dismount sound happens to me when mobs load--it's especially noticeable on closer ones, such as stealthed mobs that suddenly load for you.

I reported it on the PTR before Shattering even hit, but not fixed ofc

I tamed the hive controller (brain exposed silithid) a few days ago on the PTR. (s)he swam perfectly while we were in 1K needles and had no problems with attacking either.

I had the same issue when I tamed the one out in Ungoro,
I had also tamed the Rare blue one in Tanaris and didnt have any issues except the whump noise every 5-10 secs
