Asked him if he had seen Krush. "No Mate." "Well, if you spot him, will you shout? A Krush tame is worth 1k to me." And he said he would. So I logged across to my hunter again, finished the searching for rares for my friend, then hopped to the alt to do some herbing, not even really thinking about it.
About 30 minutes later, I get a whisper: "Kruuuuuuush!" And immediately I logged to the hunter, dropped him in Sholazar, and checked where it was. The DK partied up with me and tagged him. A little fumbling and some breath-taking moments later, and Krush was mine. FINALLY!
"Congrats, Mate," the DK says, and flies off immediately.
"Don't you want your 1k?"
"Nah. Keep it."
"WoW needs more people like you."
"No. It really doesn't. I'll let you know if I see any of the others."
So, thanks to a Death Knight who was willing to help a complete stranger who whispered him out of the blue... for absolutely nothing... in the last three hours of old world map, I managed to get myself a Krush! I felt the story should be shared so that someone like him can get his due karma.
