Rise of the Shadows!

Molly blinked at her question. How old I am? ...I ... I'm honestly not too sure. She rubbed her neck, thinking. Pokémon don't often keep track of their exact age. We just a general idea of how old we are. As for me, I'm about... She scanned the humans for what felt like a right match. She choose a woman that appeared to be in her mid twenties to her early thirties. Perhaps somewhere around the age of that human there? It's a rough guess. She gestured at the woman, then shrugged.

[Moonlost]

Venin hissed when she looked in the sky. Damn that overgrown salamander! She looked around for an escape route, gesturing to Phansom before jumping into a nearby building. Once inside, she started to look around frantically for somewhere to hide, or at least another exit to escape from.

Holly seemed a little perplexed at that. "If you don't keep track of age, then how do you know when to have birthdays?"

Molly rubbed her chin, trying to think of a way to explain. Well, we actually don't celebrate birthdays. Maybe when a younger Pokémon becomes of age, but not often every year. Though instead we celebrate others things that are important to us, like an evolution or a new egg.

[Senna-Umbreon]

((That took a bit longer than I thought... But I'm back!! XD))

"Aw crap." Phantom growled, following Venin into the building. "Any idea how we're going to escape this time?" He asked, joining the Vaporeon in her search for a hiding place or escape route.

[Moonlost]

Venin found herself in a panic. She couldn't find any way to get out of their situation. The Charaptor was surely circling around outside, other dusk would surely be outside as well. Outrunning them didn't seem like an option at this time; Buzzard could probably catch them relatively easy. One last gamble then...

"Yeah," Venin said, turning to Phantom. "Hope your new evolution is faster than your current fuzzy butt!"

With that, the Vaporeon swung her head, slamming the needle into the Flareon's flank. She then turned liquid, wrapped part of herself around Phantom, and pushed on the syringe, injecting the syrum into him.

[Azunara]

The telepatheon snarled, then looked up as Buzzard circled above. She flicked her tail, giving them a slight grin, and continued following them, to a building. She paused, and then blinked. Vapereon, flareon, sludge, her fellow Dusk above...and now a new scent. She shook her head, trying to remember the smell, then she bared her teeth. Oh. She remembered it now. Through the pain...Damn them!

Still. The flareon would be useless in the time he would be evolving. As long as she could take care of the vapereon, which would be easy enough, then the flareon would be short work. Besides, she had evolved too. And she had been exhausted. All of them had been. Meaning the flareon would be as well, right? She smirked. They had made a mistake. She waved her tail to Buzzard, nodding at him, before stalking closer to the building, planning to strike.

Cro tilted his head back at the kid, just as confused. "Maybe we should ask somebody?" He suggested, looking at his claws. The Lord of Time had to be on the mountain. That's where he lived, and did...Time Lordy things. He just happened to look a bit like him. Right?

Lilith ran as far ahead as she could and dove into a bush.

Chomp sat down next to Rikki, "Lotta new faces huh?"


Deoxys looked at one young human that decided to walk up to him and Delora, "Can I help you?"

Phantom blinked at Venin, "Wait wha?!" He stammered, then flinched as the needle was jammed into him, but other than that, didn't feel a thin-- Oh wait, nevermind. Now he hurt. A lot.

Holding back a pained yowl, he collasped to the floor, growling. He writhed around, feeling like his whole body was being torn apart. Dammit this hurt! Flames suddenly enveloped his tail, lingering for a few seconds before disappearing, leaving his formerly orange fluffy tail parted into three new ones that matched the rest of his red fur. Another burst of flames appeared around the ruff of his neck, this time lingering for slightly less time, and leaving the orange fur as a long fiery mane. A third, larger burst of flames appeared, this time enveloping his entire body, and lingering for far longer than the other two. Finally it ceased, leaving a large wolf-like creature in its wake.

Phantom evolved into Smoldereon!

Phantom groaned, blinking open his bright red eyes. "Okay... That hurt.." He managed to say, still gasping for breath despite the fact that the pain had mostly disappeared. He glanced back, looking over himself; A long 'ridge' of flames now streamed down from his head to the tip of each of his three tails.. A permanant flame around each of his paws... Not only that, but his body was much larger now, more the size of a lion than the small fox-like stature of his previous form. His snout was now longer and broader, with two large fangs protruding from his lower jaw. Well, one thing was for sure.. Venin couldn't say that he wasn't intimidating anymore. Wait.. Ack! Venin! He started panicking slightly, hoping the water-esque Vaporeon hadn't been evaporated by the flames that had eneveloped him during the evolution.

Venin clung onto Phantom, holding the syringe in place until she was sure the syrum has fully injected. Once she felt his body start to spasm, she let go, reforming herself and jumping back to watch. She was glad she did, although fire didn't hurt her too much, the inferno that engulfed his body seemed like it would have done extensive damage should she have been next to it.
She suddenly twitched her head to look at the door they had entered in. She thought she saw something move... Shit, she needed to buy time. She opened her mouth and blasted out an Ice Beam, using it to build a wall of solid frozen water to fortify the walls. It wouldn't last long she knew, especially with the Buzzard, but it might buy them precious few seconds.

The light from Phantom's evolution faded; she swiveled about to look at his new form. She had to admit, she liked what she saw. She just hoped he recovered quickly enough to use his new power before the Dusk broke in.
"Listen Fuzzy," She said, staring at her new ice wall, waiting for the inevitable attack. "If you see a chance to get out of here, take it. Don't worry about my ass, I can make my own way out of here."
She let loose another Ice beam, thickening her cold fortress.

Gamin sniffed. He.. could smell them. "They're down there!" He called out to Buzzard. "Land and meet up with Sol, we can take 'em down!"

Seventeen growled. She felt useless just sitting there, waiting for Gamin and the others to return. She moved over to Insins and snarled, grabbing his labcoat and tugging towards the cell. Insins, who has been deep in thought, jumped and instinctively wiggled out of his coat.
The Manectric growled again, the white coat still in her jaws. She gestured to the cell again.
Insins looked helpless. "I'm not sure if you'll survive with those injuries." He said, choosing his words carefully. Seventeen growled in response, resolute in her decision. The scientist looked to Scarab, wanting to know how the Kabutops felt about the situation.

Baaz slowed his pace down to a trot, tring to hide his smile. He saw his love bound into the bushes, but letting her knwo would spoil the fun.
"Where did you go Lilith?" He called out, tail swishing as he trotted towards the bush.

"Well that's no fun. How do you get presents and cake then?" Holly asked, taking a seat on the ground.

"Yeah, let's go do that!" The boy said, confused as to why Cro seemed to confused. He wished he could look like the God of Time.

The boy stood looking at Deoxys. "Aren't you one of the legendaries that came to help us when the Dusk attacked our temple?"

[Kamalia]

Molly looked somewhat amused. Well, I can't say cake is something we easily make or come by. As for presents... well, I suppose we don't get a lot of those, do we?

[Magnakilro]

Deoxys chuckled, "Yes I am."

Lilith waited till Baaz was close, then flung herself at the big Arcanine.

[Azunara]

Cro nodded in agreement. He had wondered about this for a while, he had to admit. He briefly remembered when Chomp and Victini had tried to hide something. He could tell. Maybe the humans would know more? He added, "Who do we ask?"

Solara snarled at the ice fortress. Didn't matter to her. The telepatheon scowled, and focused her psychic energy, trying to destroy the wall. She lashed at it herself, claws slashing, snarling darkly. She smashed at it continually, using her tail to try and bash the wall to bits. It began to crack, and the telepatheon smirked darkly. Surprise!

Solara used Iron Tail!
Solara used Psybeam!

[Magnakilro]

Soundwave sighed. He missed Sol. He looked at everyone then decided to fly out to find her.

[Azunara]

((Awww. Soundwave...))

Solara snarled at the building, tail lashing. She fell back a few paces, panting. She was a bit sore, and she shook herself. Walls were tough. She easily created a small sun, using it to heal her soreness and grinning contentedly.

Solara used Sunny Day!
Solara used Morning Sun!

[Lupis]

Buzzard did a loop and landed by Solara, waving his tail at her. "I got this." He put down Gamin a safe distance away, then took a deep breath. For a few seconds he held it, his tail/back flame flaring brightly, and then let it out in a cloud of blue fire.
Buzzard uses Flamethrower!
He looked a little out of breath, but proud of himself. He didn't notice that Delrokx had faded away.

Delrokx faded around behind the building, looking for any back entrances. She would get the little rats if they tried running.

[Azunara]

Solara blinked, nodding in satisfaction. "Nice! Better than what I could've pulled off. Alright. From the sound and smell of it, the fox's evolved. I'll keep the vapereon distracted, if you can keep him busy."

[Lupis]

Buzzard nodded. "He may be immune to my fire, but I'm not exactly afraid of burns." He grinned, polishing a claw on a folded wing. "Gamin, if you want to help, I'd say attack the fox too. He didn't seem to like my shadow attack, you might be able to help."

[Magnakilro]

Soundwave searched everywhere, hoping to see his love. He called out her name.

[Azunara]

Solara pricked her ears, thinking she heard something. That annoying headache was coming back, the voices were louder and trying to drown out another voice, a smaller voice she tended to ignore. Her sun flickered high in the sky, and she looked at it, mindlessly humming now. "Ready whenever."

[Lupis]

Buzzard nodded, giving the now humming Solara a funny look. "Alright. Lets go."
He charged the building, roaring at Venin and Phantom. He immediately lunged at the Smoldereon with a Shadow Claw, lashing at his eyes.

Scarab looked at Seventeen thoughtfully. He didn't want to risk an ally with such tenacity.
"Human. What are the chancesss that she will not live?" he asked calmly.

Delrokx had found a back entrance to the building. Smiling, she faded, prowling in the door and waiting.
