Fledgling Colossus fixed

Unread post by Worba »

Since the most recent server restart, my colossus now follows me around like a good little... large... thing.

Ugh! I've never been a big fan of raid tames - purely because I don't like having to ask for help... of any kind. Back when I wanted a red core hound I took "the long way" and went after The Beast instead of the ones in MC (getting to TB required a half hour or so, whereas you could get to the ones in MC in I think 5 minutes or less)...

When I hit lvl 85 I'll probably start thinking about going after Princess HuHu and Chromag but till then I'm quite happy to have a working purple colossus. xD

All the bosses and trash in AQ40 can be soloed by a hunter sep for Twin Imps and the Bugs (With out tame despawning. Some might consider that an exploit ). The problem is learning how to solo Boss #1.

Tho if you have a pally bud 2maning is super easy.

Yeah... I'm not sure if this was fixed during the influx of hotfixes, but after the Shattering you were able to solo just about anything with a worm (and certain other tenacity pets... forget which ones). Every time the worm would drop to low health, it would magically heal back to full, so you could send your pet in, feign death, and let your pet do all the work.

Granted, it takes a long ass time, but it works.

I'm pretty sure they hotfixed all the 'undying' pets by now.

I probably should have been more clear - I wasn't talking so much about actual difficulty of the encounters - with enough time and room for error I can generally figure out how to beat those... when I say "help", I just mean "get someone to group with you and then d/c so you can form a raid and get through the front door". Unless it's someone I know very well, I don't like asking for help, even for something as minor as that.
