Work starts next week, so since you only seem to appear between 2 to 3 in the morning, it's over. I'll learn to like Red, and you'll have to make due with the NE hunter that uses you as a stepping stool to get up on top of the mailbox to dance. I hope you enjoy that. And watch out for that rogue, he'll still be hunting you, for your skin.

Yes, I agree Black does look great as well as Blue, I can't decide which one to keep using, I really do love my Green though, Black & Blue being very hard to choose between as a second.

Might get Bronze restored, who knows.

Please appear in your blue skin. I'm fairly sure your scorpid friends are getting sick of me wyvern stinging them and then taming only to abandon once the tame goes through. If you appear in your blue skin, you will save many more of them from the same fate.

Was a very easy camp, just did it very casually over the past week or so.

The tame was another story. NPCScan go off, first thought another hunter messing with ya but your hand starts shaking. There he is, a bit of a giant so hard to miss. Land, shoot so he's tagged ... shoot camel guy instead >_< Camel guy runs into trap, run past camel guy who I still had targeted, break trap with melee. Click beast lore instead of tame beast wonder what is wrong, Madexx aggro now too along with the camel guy. FD out of both, target Madexx... camel guy reaggros, freeze trap him, try beast lore again realize what I am doing wrong, hit the right spell ... start taming Madexx realize I haven't tapped him. Pray no one interferes. Tame finishes ... faint.

Yay! So I've been camping Madexx on and off since before Christmas. I managed to tame the green after almost two weeks of camping; named him Steampunk. He's a very cute bugger but I NEEDED the pinky-red. Since I started my Madexx 'camp' I have tamed Ghostcrawler, Karoma and Sambas. I have also seen one more green Madexx (gave to a hunter) and a bronze (he was dead..).

Tonight I was doing archeology on my 82 warrior in party with my boyfriends 85 shaman who was also doing archaeology. I was in Un'goro and he was in Uldum, and then"

Him: "Who's the rare crab in Uldum?"
Me: "Crab? Like, Madexx?"
(After like a minute)
Him: He's up. He's up!

I scramble to my hunter, waiting 20s to log out seems SO LONG! I'm already parked in Uldum and as soon as I log I get a group invite by my boyfriend.

Me: "Where is he?"
Him: "I dunno some guy announced in general, said crab so non-hunters wouldn't kill"

I flew around everywhere, around all the spawns I know.. I see nothing. My heart starts to fall a little bit, what if he wasn't up? My boyfriend asks in general again where he was, and the guy says near the top west of the Wastes. And then Ryan goes

"RED DAYNA RED GET OVER HERE!!!!!!!!!"

I start panicking and fly to where he is. I drop off my mount, and hit tame but... Ry had popped BL and aggro'd him. Takes me a second to shoot him then tame, and then my beautiful pink scorpid is finally MINE! I was planning on abandoning Steampunk but I'm not sure, I'm going to keep him for now, until I NEED a free slot.

Very glad I got my new Madexx, good luck to everyone gettin theirs. <3

That might be your opinion but others will feel different. Just because a skin becomes common doesn't mean that camping is pointless. I camped for King Mosh, despite Tyrant Devilsaurs sharing the same skin.

Also, only blue and bronze will be available next patch correct? Many will still be camping for the green, pink-red and black, or for the 'thrill of the hunt', or so they have a stable coloured bronze or blue.

I beg to differ, Swift. The brown and blue might be color changers, but what if someone wants a red, green or black? Or even one that stays brown or blue? No camp is pointless if you truly want the pet. Congratulations Gum, on your red buddy! The red is gorgeous.

I have stopped taming and abandoning your little scorpy pals. It clearly wasn't doing the trick. And apparently dancing around a fire doesn't work either. So what do you want me to do to earn my blue version of you?

Well, I have decided to give up on the blue. Why? Because I just tamed a black and omg, I like!

I didn't think I'd like black, but it came down to either taming the black Madexx or letting the approaching mage kill. I got the tame but died just after wards.

Rezzed and flew to a safe spot to inspect my new pet. Stared at the combination of near black and the reddish highlights... my first thought was "wow, it makes me think of Webber." Now Webber is my favourite little hen. I raised her from a chick and she's a plucky little thing who will take on any of the other chooks and has been known to have a go at the dogs and the horses. So black Madexx is now named Webber and I'm already fond of her. Yes, her.

The blue can maybe go to another one of my hunters. Maybe I'll skip the camp and they can just have the common colour changer. The camp has driven me nuts. I have a red, I like my red; I have a bronze, it's ok. Would the blue suit my NE better? Yeah probably. But the black has me.

And a big thanks to my new horde pal. She knows who she is. Thank you for the help and the company!

So I have been camping Madexx since Dec. 18th... wanting green...

This morning I was stopped at a spawn point for Madexx so I could type something else in my Madexx PTR Suggestion thread, and before I minimized the WoW window I noticed another hunter in the area too.

So I started typing and when I was about done my NPCScan goes off... I maximized the window only to see the other hunter below me with a green Madexx... I asked him when he got it and he said, "Just now at the northern spawn"...

Wow, missed him by mere seconds.....that's brutal. I know that sick feeling, though. Twice I've just barely missed green. Back when I wanted it more than I wanted chocolate (and that's saying something), I felt physically ill about missing it. So I can totally relate to you right now.

I wish I could make you believe when I say, "Keep at it, you'll get him someday!". But that doesn't help the here and now. So, the best I can do is just send you tons of e-hugs and the advice to come back in 5.5 hours to look again.

I would also suggest that in the meantime, you spend time with your other Madexx(es?) just to make sure you couldn't be happy with one of those instead. You never know when and where The Bond will strike.

I only have the brown Madexx and I like him OK, but .... I want green.

At first my top choice was blue and then I saw a picture of a tamed green one... I would still take any other color than brown... but I want green.
