What pets fit best with what class?

Curious to see what mini-pet you folks think fit the best with certain races or classes in the game.

Myself: I've been working on a mage alt since the first of the month and have grown to love the character enough to spend the leftover money I got for my birthday for the Lil' K.T. companion pet to travel along at her side. While my mage is busy blasting away her foes with arcane magics, her little lich friend is busy shooting frostbolts at any critter that tickles his fancy. He has a grand time of it too. Since my mage hit 70 I've also started work on the Kirin Tor Familiar achievement for the days when Lil' K.T. needs a lil' R&R.

How about you? Even if it's not your own toon, what sort of mini-pets would you partner with a certain race or class?

Well. My hunter has the crimson whelpling, having grinded a few days to get in waaay back in Vanilla. It fits her red drake nicely.

My lock used her Orange Tabby, then shifted to Singing Sunflower for a while, until I decided to buy a dark whelpling. Now she has that following her, and I'll get my guildies together one day and run a Sarth 3D so I can get Raven a black drake mount.

My druid uses any assortment of cats, but she tends to have her Silver Tabby or Sinister Squashling out.

mage: other good ideas are the enchanted broom or either of the enchanting-crafted pets
priest: spirit of summer
warlock: kirin tor familiar is good for these as well
druid: any of the plant pets or a moonkin hatchling
rogue: wolpertinger, of course
hunter: any that match their hunter pets
shaman: any of the elemental pets, like pebble, or a shale spider
paladin: argent gruntling or argent squire
warrior: murkimus--I know, not an easy pet to get...maybe someone else will have a better suggestion
death knight: ghostly skull or haunted memento

tournament pets are a natural choice for racial pets, except for:
goblin: pet bombling or personal world destroyer
worgen: worg pup

I have a couple mini-pets that are always out with certain alts.

Taysha, Troll Fire Mage -> Phoenix Hatchling, Lil'Deathwing, Crimsom Whelpling

Bessey, Tauren Druid -> Moonkin Hatchling (in Moonkin form)
Tedrassil Sproutling (for Resto ... worked better when I had my Tree form)
Wyvern Cub (with Lion form)
Tickbird Hatchling (with flight form)

I need a spotted cat, and sea lion mini pet to match her other forms! I also have to pick up a black bear cub small pet for her.

Emielee, Forsaken Demonology Warlock -> Willy (a cute, little floating demon to match her others)

My Goblin Shaman, Trixzie, is barely out of the starting area, but I want to collect elemental-themed pets on her.

My hunters all try to have small pets out that match their combat pets.

Trying to think of appropriate small pets for my blood elf Protection Pally, and Subtley Rogue now.
