How to tame the Burning Boars!

Just relax, and keep trying. You've got over 10 hours; getting the tame just right won't take you anywhere near that long.

Depends, assuming you are relying on the death-timer method, it may or may not be against the TOS, the other scripted method certainly is against the TOS.

Supposedly it still works. If it's worth it to risk it to you, you can try, but be warned that you might get your boar slapped if you do, or it might just work, or it might not work at all.

take me 30min to get him,but still work,timing is really important.
for ally player,you can done this by yourself.

just go to blizz's acc page,click add a trial,then muliti-tasking,if boar died before/after you finish the taming ,move your "horde char" a little further or closer.if successful,the boar will just disappear w/o dying animation&ding.

Just for confirmation: 100%, the death-timer method still works for getting these. I just got one on my goblin hunter who didn't even exist when they fixed the PetAbandon method. I had my boyfriend make a tauren alt and told him vocally when to toss the torch - sweet spot seemed to be with 7.1sec left on the tame according to the Quartz castbar addon, and my boyfriend's character standing right next to the feed trough (in case torch travel time matters, I'm not sure whether it does).

The only problem is Blizzard made it very clear that they do not want you doing this. It may still work, but...

Yup, I'm aware, and if they take the boar away and/or slap down a short-time ban on my so-far-squeaky-clean account for doing this it'll be my own damn fault and I certainly won't complain. :] I wanted one (it fits my goblin hunter far more than it could've fit my other hunter, which is why I didn't tame it on my other hunter back when PetAbandon worked); I figured it's worth the risk.

Cozzene it's going to be said till folks are blue in the face and the only way it's going to stop is when someone gets into a heap of trouble, and I have no doubts it will happen, and /or the beasts with appearance buffs will just simply be rendered untamable.
Once the Blizzard hammer of justice comes down then people will be bitching about that they can't tame it. Vicious circle.
