how to get the pictures you post to show up in said post

a few times i've posted screenshots, all I have been able to do is post the link to them, i've not been able to actually post them on the message board, so how do you do it so people can see them right away?

Edited: no, I didn't know how to explain it, and when I tried to use the img code, it disappeared.

Basically...go to the full editor for your reply, and at the top there, you should see a little button saying "Img", click it, and place your URL within the Img thingies...

When you attach an image to a post, hit the Preview button. You'll see an example of what your reply will look like, along with the links to the image(s) you uploaded.

Go ahead and open the link to your image, then take that URL and use it between the IMG tags. You have to get the actual address of your picture rather than just using the short link that appears at first.

I know if you use photobucket, by clicking on the image code they offer, it automatically copies the URL you need and puts image tags around it, then all you do is paste it here and voila, you have a screenie in your post.
