It started this morning in Deepholme. I was there on my warlock doing the daily quests, and I had just descended into the Crumbling Depths when NPCScan went off alerting me that Jadefang was there. I quickly logged onto my hunter and headed down there, but unfortunately the bomb quest wasn't available today. Frantically, I scoured the internet looking for another way up there. Blizzard removed the ability to die and rez up there, so that was out. I tried disengaging from the spot where Pebble is, but I couldn't get high enough. Finally, I read that people had had success using by unplugging the internet connection while flying in to the cave and plugging it back in a few seconds later. I tried this a few times with no luck. On my 6th attempt I finally landed on the platform and saw Jadefang waiting for me, but I got disconnected as soon as I dismounted. Thankfully I was able to log back on and tame her easily.
At this point I remembered stories of people on here finding several rares at once, so I headed out to look for the other new Cata rares.
No Maddex.
No Terrorpene..
No Sambas...
NPCScan! Hello Karoma!
Two rares in one day was already a personal best for me, but I decided there was one more I needed to go check. I'd been looking for him for a long time with no luck, but this time I had Karoma to help me search.
We we're searching for Arcturis. The last Spirit Beast I needed, he's eluded me for months. That all ended today!
I'd just come back to my computer from getting a drink when NPCScan went off again, and there he was in front of me. I was shaking so much while I tamed him, but he was finally mine.
If I hadn't been coming here and reading other peoples stories I would probably have given up a long time ago, so I wanna say thank you again. I'm still thinking of names for my new Spirit Beasts, and I still have more rare to find, but I'm hoping maybe my story can help inspire someone else in their hunts in the future.
Also, I heard it's good luck to post here, lol...
