I was doing my daily sweep around twilight highlands, looking for Sambas.

For the first time ever, I spot him! Heart racing, I landed, eager to tame quickly as possible. Hmm did the sky just change colour?

I dimissed my dear spirit beast, then began the tame. Moments before it finished, what happened?

BAM! both Sambas and I melted by deathwings fire.

I guess I just have to keep hunting.

And now it's personal.

Bet then again when I saw they sky change red while on my war I flew right into DW's face to get pawnd and I was dancing around happy to FINALLY have the achev on one of my toons since I missed it 3 times. Once while in THs which I raced off to get killed on the other side up by the Sambas spawns which in turn had me miss out in passing up the site where Koroma was and missing him, another time coming out of a dun on said war and another time being on the wrong side of Tannaris (sp) on my lil worgen hunter.

I was pretty shocked, because the tame was sooo close to being finished and then we were both dead. I yelled "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" really loudly and woke up my fiance.

I spent the rest of the morning swearing at Deathwing.


Oh well, I like hanging out in twilight highlands, I'd have to find another project to work on if I had tamed him successfully. And I did get my achievement, for the first time on any of my toons.

Hey- I have a good news update!

I went back 12hrs after my morning deep frying, and managed to tame him without any interference!

I'm now a much happier dwarf.
