I just like Skarmory. xD As for fighting types, my espeon will sweep them up with her psychic type, at least. Skarmory also has fly, which is what no one else on the team has. If I take out Skarmory and put in pidgeot, I'll have fly. Water types...The only pokemon that would have issues would be Ninetails, so it just won't go out against them.

*cackles from inside Magna's head.* BWAHAHAHA.

Well....sad to say but I won't be joining most of ya's in Unova....dad couldn't get me to the bank so I can't afford the games today >_> Next Saturday tho...I should be good XD

.. Ahem. Updaaaaate time! I've already beaten the second Gym Leader (Through pure dumb luck, no less) and am currently chasing down Team Plasma in Pinwheel Forest...

My team so far is..

Lyell the Dewott (Durr. I seriously love this little guy by the way <3)
Matt the Herdier (I picked this little guy up 'cause I realized "WAIT. First Gym.. Pansage! Agh! NEED SOMETHING ELSE OTHER THAN STARTER!" .. Of course, I totally forgot I get a Pansear before the Gym battle. But yeah, I think Matt might be here to stay until I finally catch Terrakion XD)
Ali the Purrloin (Another randomly caught Pokemon. I decided to not train her, so she's still lvl 7.. Though at least she knows Cut so she's fairly useful.)
Lily the Pansear (Yes! She was female the first try! I wasn't even trying to get a female! But she was! A boy was she useful in the first Gym XD)
Aaand the latest addition.. Bunny the Audino (I just randomly found a shaking spot of grass in Pinwheel Forest and thought she was ADORABLE so I caught her XD)

So.. Yeah. Problem with my planned team is that I don't get any of them besides Lyell until quite a bit later in the game. But oh well.. I have a fairly good team so far, even though most of them are kinda low lvl (Lyell and Matt are the highest lvl.. Lily's rising fairly fast, though.)

Also, it's a really good thing I love the Team Plasma Grunt battle theme, since I'm fighting them SO MUCH XD

Cheating, I decided against a full restart and opted to keep two of my current team: The vicious Solara and the amazing Soundwave. Putting more or less everyone else into the box, I picked up my vulpix (Korra) and am working on grabbing my pidgeot. I believe I have an eevee egg lying around too. Not looking for to Pokeathelon, though. D:

Edit: That, and I wanted to keep my three shiny Johto Beasts for B+W. That unlocks Zoruark( spelling?) or something, yeah?

Sooooo, yeah, how about that troll in Pet Discussions that held Arcturis hostage for 10k gold? *whistles*... That's pretty much why I came back here in such a rush, I dislike trolls.

Anyways, if you like Skarm, then it's your game, I was just inquiring as to what reasons. Skarmory is a pretty beastly Pokemon.

And, further note, I just finished the Elite four and my Rival off. Took a good 10 hours of Vs. Seeker training, A million Poke'dollars earned from it too, but so worth it to just walk through the E.4 like they're nothing.

I just got my black and white My starter pokemon Snivy is female. Is that still a rare thing? I'll be able to make babies eventually I hope to trade or give to friends.

It's pretty rare, Bulletdance. Starters are usually male a vast majority of the time.

I myself kept restarting my game until I got a female Snivy, because I wanted to name it Empress (Emperor sounded silly according to my friend). It took three tries (I got lucky), but I've got her.

Also caught myself a Lillypup for a little bit of help until I get more of the team I want later, and currently working on raising my water monkey (ugh....do not want! I hate monkeys. As soon as I finish the first gym it's going straight in the PC).

I'm actually enjoying this more than I thought I would X3

I belive the first gym is a mix of fire/water/grass types, you choose the type you want to battle

Yup, it's three different types. You battle a certain guy depending on which starter you pick. If you picked the water-type starter, you go against the leader with grass Pokémon. If you picked the fire starter, you go against the one who uses water-types, ect. ect.

So far I've got:

Leith, level 12 male Oshawott
Tanya, level 12 female Patrat

...Yeeaaaah we're not exactly a force to be reckoned with yet.

Haha! No worries, you can get a Pokémon (Gifted to you by an NPC) beforehand that's good against the type your starter is weak against.

Though even then I just barely won that badge. >_>

Well. the game counters that gym by giving you an elemental monkey that compliments your starter, so Grass starter you get water monkey, fire starter you get Grass monkey, and Water starter you get fire monkey. And they come at lv 10 so you dont have to grind them up to fight the first gym unless you want to make it that much easier.

And then later you can choose an evo stone (leaf,fire, water) and its best t oget the same type as your monkey since thats the only way to evolve it. (though once evolved they stop learning moves but thier stats get a good boost)

I just got home and got my Kid to sleep. Now I get to find out what the heck these people have been saying to me for the past half year lol!
