I fell in love with Mijumara/Oshawott when he was first introduced. My buds didn't start liking him until the anime was shown which oddly had the Oshawott stalking Ash and company.

Snivy is hard-mode, but I love my Tahirah, yes I do. *hugs her* I've only beaten the first gym and I've had my Black Version since this morning. I didn't use Panpour, not a fan of it, so it took three tries to beat the first gym with only a Snivy and a Purrloin in my team.

Here's my team as of now:
Tahirah (Female Servine, level 18)
Hawkbane (Male Purrloin, level 17)
Swiftmane (Male Blitzle, level 18)
Blue (Male Sawk, level 17)

Swiftmane's my temporary Electric-type till I can pick up a Batula (I forget the English name) and Blue may end up staying instead of being a temporary member for the upcoming gym battle. I'm growing pretty fond of him, and I didn't expect to like Sawk as much as I do. The rest of my planned team won't be obtained for a while, it looks like, wow. @_@

Okay, strange, non-pokemon question. Senna's signature, can you guys see it or not? for the past few months, all I see is the word "Image" in a slightly different font from normal. :S

It's actually a pic I drew of her pokesona, which is a differently coloured glaceon. XD Pardon my style lol.
EDIT: Well, the signature is anyway. Her avatar is Lupis' take on the same -sona. But it's not the avatar we're having problems with atm. :S

More like OP. Seriously. Those things will run RAMPANT in competitive battling.. Accompanied by Tyranitar, of course, which makes it even worse >.<


Also, a little tiiiiny rant here.. Why the hell do people keep saying Game Freak is running out of ideas for Pokemon? I wouldn't count a trio/quartet of Legendaries that are based on a freakin' classic story uncreative or anything like that. Same with the starters. A samurai sea otter, a Chinese boar and a European royalty snake? Um, how the HECK is that "running out of ideas"?! *Facepalm* The guy standing in front of us in the line at GameStop this morning was saying this too.. >.>

From what I've heard, a lot of the 5th gen pokemon are rather OP. <.<

On the topic of the unoriginal designs? I agree in that I don't agree. I guess maybe the problem is that a lott of the little refernces and sources they draw inspiration from is not really widespread knowledge in western culture. Which is why On the Origin of Species over at bulbapedia is my current favourite pokemon article. It's awesome finding out where the designs come from. :3

And yeah, I honestly love mah OP Pokemon too. Apparently Terrakion is gonna be one of the top threats in competitive battling.. And I'm not really surprised. I mean, how can he NOT be awesome?! XD *Hugs Terrakion, but gets Stone Edge'd by him* ..... But alas, he does not seem to like me one bit. *Sighs*

Alsoooooo, something I noticed in the games.. Everywhere a Pokemon's species name is mentioned (Whether it be in battle, said by an NPC, whatever), THEY'RE NOT IN ALL CAPS ANYMORE. OH MY ARCEUS IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY THAT THE NAMES AREN'T ALL CAPS. (... *Looks at half of what she's said* ... Well isn't that ironic >.>)

On the subject of names... I'm STILL annoyed about how they changed Cobalon's name D: I don't CARE if "Cobalion" goes with the others.. It sounds fail! 'Sides, KELDEO'S name doesn't match the others! WHY DID THEY HAVE TO RUIN POOR COBALON?! AGHHHH!! *Clings onto Cobalon, who stares at her with a "... Wat." expression on his face*
