You said that you asked your bf for permission to perform oral stimulation of your own lady bits... on him! THIS is what Autocunnilingus means.
No wonder he was freaked out.

Her boyfriend was pestering her for anal sex, not oral. :)

Yea, bonus points for the freakout, I grant her that, but come on.
If all it takes to discourage a guy from having anal sex with you is to use latin name, great.
However, it's not that that made me angry.
[...]
Autocunnilingus is oral stimulation of your own vulva, clitoris and so forth. To be crude, eating your own pussy.
Saturo asked her bf if she could perfom it on him.
That means, she wanted to uh, how should I put it... She wanted to go self-pearl-diving... on him?
Can you not see the flaw in the logic in this statement?
It's like a guy telling you, "Baby, I'd autofellatio you any day."
Here's a link to Wikipedia's entry on autofellatio, in case you're confused: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autofellatio
Autocunnilingus is a female version of this.

To sum up: it is impossible to perform on so many levels it's not even funny. No wonder he got scared.
And I'm angry because of a misuse of Latin.

[Mania says: I'm deleting the rest of this discussion in this thread. This isn't the place for a discussion of the correct usage of Latin terms ... no, not even the ones that relate to female reproduction.]

You do realize some straight guys like anal stimulation as well? That *is* the easiest way to reach their g-spot as well. Just because a man likes playing around anally doesn't automatically make him gay.

I'm mostly confused as to why you HAD to "scare him" out of it-- then again I live in a fantasy world where if you're old enough to be having sex of any sort, you're old enough to sit down and have a rational discussion along the lines of "here are my objections, if you have logical counters to them or are ABSURDLY DESPERATE maybe we could find a compromise, otherwise please respect my 'no'."

But that's me. I've been called "too practical" an awful lot....

(Also, if you ever have to work out a compromise on the topic, try finding out how sensitive you are in that area. There's no small number of people who don't want something shoved up their bum, but have enough happy nerves in the area to enjoy being touched or otherwise gently stimulated. Still not for everyone, but something to consider.)

Scaring him out of it was a tactic offered for persistence. She said no and he still kept asking so she scared him to shut him up.

I've explained to my boyfriend that I want nothing to do with anal, even gone so far as to let him try (and we never made it far, bloody hurt like hell), and he finally backed off.

Eh, sorry, I was supposed to do a dramatic vanish a la Dracula, but there's one more thing I really have to say on this matter.
And now I'm not trolling anymore [...], but offering genuine advice.
What Wark said is very true, but also, if absolutely nececairy, I can understand the need to scare the guy away from anal.
[...]
Give him facts about anal sex, which are, actually, quite scary.
  • Risk of infection and sepsis and death caused by bacteria not meant to enter your bloodstream.
Which may happen because of micro-tears to your anus and rectum.
Leading to higher risk of contracting STDs, including, but not limited to, HIV and hep-A, B and C, gonorrhea and syphilis.
Because of the nature of sphincter and the lack of natural lubricant present, condoms are more likely to tear or slip off, futher increasing the chance for the above.
This isn't porn it's real life. Most people get grossed out by feces, and those are inevitable in anal sex. Doesn't matter when you last "went", even trace amount is there, even if it seems clean, therefore...
    Surgical-level cleansiness is required.
YOU MUST WEAR A CONDOM, NO EXCUSES (I just can't stress this enough).
Specific types of lube are required for your special anal condom not to fail.
Not to mention risk of anal fissures, rectal prolapse, ulcers and even anal cancer!
And all of this is amplified if you had alcohol before trying anal, because it makes you careless and numbs you.
All of this: the risks, the planning and the precautions needed, make anal to be a very messy business. Pun intended, actually. It should discourage most teenage boys, and adult men alike.

Having said that, personally I think anal sex is actually a fun thing and can bring two consensual adults closer.

*Does the Dracula exit*

A bit hard to post as i am not used to this kind of conversation. I am 22 years old and have never had a boyfriend. It's not that i don't want one but the idea weirds me out. I am the type of person who loves solitude. I love spending my time by myself just reading a book, playing a video game or browsing the web.

I do NOT want kids. Kids just freak me out. I would much rather adopt. I always get made fun of from my dad about this. He is always like "So, I guess this means I won't get any grandchildren from you."

For some reason the idea of female/male or female/female pairs also weirds me out. I still do not understand why. (It's probably because I wish I wasn't a female)

I guess I just have to be the opposite of my twin sister. She has had so many boyfriends that she has lost count and she just found out today that she has herpes. This makes me a little bit concerned because both my mom and dad had the same problem. I'm hoping that i did not get it genetically and just don't know about it but I am uncomfotable with the idea of going to a doctor to get it checked out.

Genes have nothing to do with it. The possibility of your mom passing it to you is very low, but not because of genes but because she might've been infected with it before you were born or during the pregnancy (much bigger chance to get it from her if that's the case), same way HIV positive people can pass the virus to their babies.
Also, there are two types of the virus and they cause several different disorders, it's quite complicated, but you definitely might want to check it out.

My stuff have always come in a brown bag or box with just a regular name and address for returns, nothing says it's from that kind of company. Sure, it has all been from the same company, but I think all does kinda the same thing.
I do know how you feel aswell. I have my stuff hidden at my BFs place, aswell as under the bed =P My parents are christians, and I think this is just a better way for all of us =P
Oh they usually do, it's just that Paypal sent a conformation email to my mom's email where it clearly listed the store's email - which, as you can imagine, has the same name as the store rather than the name that appears on the box. So I freaked out a bit. :P

My parents aren't really religious, so I'm not really avoiding them for that. It's just I'd really rather not blare the news of my recent purchases to my mom, even if she is the most open-minded person I know. :P

Man, this thread is getting away from me fast! Anyway, I will try to respond before everyone forget that I even posted :P

Well, I have never used Paypal for that thing, since I have a habit of paying with my credit card or via internetbanking (not sure if you can do the last one in every country though) but I understand that this kinda... creeped you out (couldn't find the right words) and I don't think I would want my parents to know, religious or not, since that is kinda your own business what you do in the bedroom. I am a fairly open person to the right people, but yeah... most don't want to know that their parents are still having sex, so it's kind of the same but reversed, if that makes any sense :P

And to the people responding to me saying that I didn't think you need to go to the gynecologist, well... this is kinda my thought of the matter. The image of it all is that you go there to look up diseases... guess I'm too young (atleast in my mind) to worry about cancer and such.
And well, I have no idea who my gynecologist was, so if I'll ever go back to the same city (planning on moving when I have a job etc etc) I wouldn't know before it was too late... unless it would be a womans name on the paper of course

There is absolutely no age safe from cancer. It's more common among older people, true-- but my "introduction" was a classmate dying of leukemia when I was about 8 years old. I have also, over the years, read plenty about fit young 18-20 year olds nearly keeping over from skin cancer, I've read about 30-somethings winding up with throat cancer....

Basically, I am willing to agree that worrying "OMG I might have cancer!!", especially when young, is pointless. On the other hand, I see a lot of people dismissively saying "no way I can have it," and it makes me /headdesk. That kind of denial is good for guaranteeing you won't treat it until it's much too late, if you DO lose the celestial lottery.

That, and cancer is NOT the only thing that can go wrong with your ladybits.

tl;dr is "I'm glad you're not worried, that's not a good excuse not to go!"

Cowmu, I've never had that problem, as I can't sleep on my front thanks to my arms-- circulation gets cut off, they fall asleep, I wake up enough to groggily flail around until I can feel them again. Now, breasts so sore I can't even roll onto my front in the first place, THAT I'm familiar with. (And may I just say it sucks?)

I'm twenty-two but I've never once dated, willingly (I've been asked out a few times, but always turn them down). It's a bit awkward, actually, since...well, my family doesn't exactly seem to get it. Not that they're not totally understanding people (we have family members who are homosexual and we're 100% supportive of them) but most of my family doesn't seem to really, I dunno, get my lack of interest in and/or discomfort with sex and such. In fact, it's such an awkward topic that nobody really knows how to deal with, that I don't think I've ever told any of them I'm more than a little terrified of the whole mess.
I could be way off base here, but have you looked into asexuality? Not all people who aren't into sex and dating are asexual, but asexuality sounds like it might match some of your feelings. Asexuality is a valid sexual orientation and there is a loose internet support structure of other asexuals to chat with, so it may be something you'd like to learn more about.

For anyone who wants more info: Here's the basic Wikipedia article on asexuality, but I'd recommend looking at the Asexual Visibility and Education Network (AVEN).

I do know that there are always a risk of getting cancer. My aunts husband died nov 2009, only 32-ish years old, because he got a rare kind of skin cancer, and the doctors thought it was just an urinary infection at first, and basically told him it would go away. One year later, he died, with a widow and a baby girl left. No, this is not so you can tell me "I'm sorry, my thoughts are with you" etc etc, I say this because he was fighting more than anyone thought he would manage in that state. It was not his time. Long before that though, my grandfather died of cancer... think I was about 6-7 years old then.

I do tend to overly worry when it comes to some things, and not at all for other things :P Just hope I will worry when there is really a problem ;)
