Sporebats

Has anyone else noticed the small amound of sporebats that are in the family.
i think they need to try and make more sporecreatures tameable like the tripods and boglords maybe?
or at least add some more sporebats to the game especially at lower level.

I like that idea especially since everyone seems to only notice how their tail looks like...a male private part.

You can't even tame all the cats skins on one hunter, and there are Three sporebat skins, which don't even look that different from each other--I would love more options.

I think sporebats would be a good addition to Dustwallow Marsh and Swamp of Sorrows.

They could also be around the dark portal, in the marshy swamp type place where the new worgen town is or whatev. I mean for storyline purposes like "oh noes a group of sporebats ran through teh portal" or something.

Red, and a slatey grey, and maybe a dark green, and....oh, 8-10 more colors and I"ll be happy! Love 'em!

Yes, we definitely need more sporebats! Boglords aren't even beasts to begin with, so I don't see them becoming pets. The fen stalkers, on the other hand, are beasts and actually resemble sporebats. Their main drawback is that they are very tall, and a such would wind up looking very spindly once scaled down to hunter pet size. I think a great idea would be to take the 'head' of teh fen stalker and graft it onto the sporebat skeleton to make a new sporebat model.

Would totally love a charcoal or an orange sporebat. SOOO needed. Orange would make some sense in Firelands, color-wise anyway.(Hint!)

Heck, I'd just like more/improved animations for them. They're just so... boring to have out, and their run animation looks wonky to me.

I've never kept a sporebat too long, colors just didn't work for me. Meh.

I personally find the flowing tail/tentacles of the run animation to be one of the nicest animations that sporebats have.

The fen stalkers could be the size of a devilsaur? Their run animation is just a really wide step so actually.. yeah... but they're making hydras pets (give it a few months, its gonna be another 'grimtotem spirit guide' but with common models not a rare spirit beast) and they dont have a run animation thats shrink friendly.

That looks vaguely familiar.

Remember there used to only be one spirit beast in the game - Loque... the rest were added one by one in subsequent tiers of content.

What does that have to do with sporebats? obviously there needs to be a spirit beast one. To up the #skin count and all.

I know we don't have a lot of choice, but I absolutely adore my Sporebat, Andromeda. The Blue, the little spores, the undulating...even if she's in the stables, I have my Tiny Sporebat pet out to remind me of how beautiful they are as a family. Definately need more skins plz, I mean, they added 3/4 more to the Warp Stalker family (granted they've been in the Model Viewer for years, and some were MIA), which means it's not an issue with regards to 'outdated expansion pets', as I thought it might be. =)
