This is so... sad. :( And scary too >.>
And did you read the comments? At some point this person keeps saying stuff in defense of the zoo, like "healthy rabbits eating healthy food" while the rabbit's ears are frostbitten and the food is littered with poop :O
And the worst... when there's a pic of dead animals, she just says things like "It's how it works in the wild." Yeah.. um... riiiight...

I am so tired of people (majority) whose mentality is that human life > animal life. I even had someone tell me it's ok because animals don't have emotions like people; they don't love or have memories. Someone even said animals don't have souls. This is very scary. If someone can't have compassion for something as innocent as an animal, then you are a very cold person.

Yeah...if that post he made on the website is true I am not surprised he got his permit again as he always does. I just don't understand why though. Is it because the animals have no where else to go, does this guy just clean things up for when the inspectors come, or does he just pay someone off?

This meeting the zoo is having for fundraising and collecting membership fees to raise money to improve things at the zoo may be a good thing but part of me is concerned it may just be a way for them use the recent attention to benefit themselves and not the animals. I know that is terrible to say but how can anyone who loves animals let them live in conditions like that for years without seeking help before now.
