Wordlessly, the draenei stood up from the wall and followed along behind.
"Do you need a hand to carry that?" He asked Saturo as they moved.

Umbra growled as the dagger sunk into her shoulder, darting away from the human rogue. Lesari jumped off her mount and rolled forward towards Kozri, slashing at his legs with her sword. ((Hamstring))

Saturo - Ironforge

"No.", the gnome replied, not wanting to trust the draenei with anything. She led them in to the backstreets of Tinker Town, ending up behind an engineering supply store. She unlocked the apartment and showed her guests in. "Don't touch anything.", she said, putting the package and the sword down on the workbench. She walked over to a bookcase, pulling out an old-looking, dusty book. She flipped up a page somewhere in the middle, and handed the book over to Zaruuk. "Start by summoning your familiar. I suggest you start with the imp.", she said simply, pointing at a demonic rune at the top of the page, nodding towards a pile of paper and what looked like demon blood ink at a table nearby. "Reagents.", she said simply, as she went over to the bench and started working on reforging the sword through magic.

Zaruuk ducked inside the house, keeping the door open for Indi to get in befor closing it behind them. He frowned as the tome was thrusted into his hands.
"I think we may have given you the wrong impression." He said, even as he skimmed over the contents of the page. "I do not wish to learn warlock magic, merely to control the darker desires that come with it."

Kozri
Cultist Camp

Kozri yelped as the sword struck. He gave a pained shriek, trying to stumble away, frustrated when his hurt legs refused to proerly respond. He focused his energy and released it in a blast of magic around him. ((Arcane Blast.))

"So, let me get this straight, you want me to teach you how not to be a warlock?", the gnome said without taking any of her attention away from the broken sword.

"In essence." He replied, admitting to himself that it did sound a bit silly if you put it that way. "Although it is closer more to teaching me how not to turn into a ravening demonic beast not in control of his own powers. How not to give into the tempting voice, whispering for you to dive head on into the fel powers that lap at your hooves."

Indigosa--Ironforge

Indi followed Zaruuk and Saturo, once more falling silent as she watched the two, trying to stay out of both of their ways. Zaruuk's description of his powers' hold over him was disturbing, but Indi realized that it was mostly because she understood what he was going through.

While her own "voice" telling her to cave had fallen silent as of late, the temptation to truly explore and discover all the nuances of blood sat in the back of her mind. The death knight hoped that this time around she would be able to exhibit more control over her urges. Blood was a carnal power and she needed to be careful with it.

Shaking her head, she returned her attention to Saturo and Zaruuk, trying to figure out what the payment for the gnome's service might be.

Sabra--Cultist Camp

Sabra looked satisfied with her father's answer, glad he had noticed the upstart elf as well. She ignored the sounds of battle going on--the other Cultists around the camp could take care of it.

Looking thoughtful, the troll asked, "Fadah, would it be good or bad for me to mebbe 'ave a beastie of my own?"

Zaruuk - Ironforge

The draenei flipped to the suggested page, skimming over the contents. He stopped, then started over, reading slowly from the top, taking in as many of the details as possible. He mouthed the incantations, trying to understand their meaning. A lot of it went over his head though. He had studied the mysteries of the arcane for most of his life, runes and incantations were nothing strange to him. This was an entirely different set of rules though. A different language to start with, and a lot of redundancies seemed to be built into the runic patterns. Probably for good reason, he mused, considering the source of this power. Regardless, with the complexities here, he was not confident casting this ward right off the page.
"This book." He said as he flicked back to the first page. "May I persuade you to part with it? Or an extra copy of it, if that is available."

"Take it, I don't exactly need it.", the gnome replied. "Pro tip: Start with the runes and work your way into the spell's wording."

The draneni nodded, quickly thumbing though the rest of the book before closing it with a sharp thump.
"And what do you want in return for this tome?" He asked, expecting the worst.

Myriana, Swift, and Senisra - Camp

Myri sent a silent command to Swift to start running for help. The fox-turned-sheep started off in the direction of Kharnos while Senisra's mind was on the hunter. Swift grumbled to himself as he complied, not able to run as fast as he normally could.

Senisra stood up and glare as the Mirror Images attacked. "You have got to be kidding." The smaller frostbolts barely phased her, but she let out an enraged screech as the Frostfire bolt hit her. She slammed Myri's head into the ground, stunning the hunter, before turning to face her opponents. She was about to prepare her own counter attack at one of the goblins, only to have it disappear as Jraak's attack hit it. Finally able to see who was the true attacker, she immediately flung a fireball at the other mage, a smile playing on her lips. Maybe she could get two for the price of one.

"Nothing right now.", she said, getting up and walking over to another bookshelf, drawing out another book. "Advanced Mind-Breaking. It's about how to torture properly, but the bits about overcoming resistances should help you.", she said, handing it over before returning to the broken sword, which was starting to come together again.

Lightfur and Batlek, Cultist Camp

Batlek tilted his head slightly at his daughter. He hadn't thought about that much. "You are free to pick one. There are many. Fire and shadow are both controllable." He gestured back at the lines of cages, each holding some sort of yet-to-be-bonded elemental beast. He was aware of fighting going on, but for now he didn't feel the need to interfere.

Lightfur snarled as his paws landed on dirt, but the cries of the dragon-human at least gave him a better idea of his location. He shifted form again, reverting to his tauren body. Concentrating on the Nightmare, he called up twisted roots from the ground to try and trip up the dragon.

Zaruuk didn't like the sound of that. Owing a favour to a warlock could turn out extremely badly. Still, the book was fascinating, and the knowledge within useful for his condition. Curiously, he flipped though the next book, frowning in disgust at the text and images contained within.
"I think the one book should be enough for now." He said, carefully setting "Advanced Mind-Breaking" down on the table. "I imagine you wish to be left to your work. We shall not keep you much longer. I guess you will be in contact with us later then with your price."

Indigosa--Ironforge

Indi caught herself admiring the warlock's runeblade, hands unconsciously brushing over her forearms where the tattoos of her runes lay.

She was brought back to awareness by the sound of Zaruuk's voice saying they were leaving. Yes...that was probably for the best. The death knight moved over to the door in preparation.

Sabra--Cultist Camp

Sabra looked gleeful as she went to go peruse the selection of caged animals, debating about whether she wanted a submissive beast or one as power hungry as herself.

"You'll hear from me soon enough.", the gnome said, starting to reforge the runes on the sword's blade. She put the sword down for a bit, to turn around and wave the visitors goodbye.

((Saturo doesn't object to having more souls. ^^))

Zaruuk - Ironforge

"I imagine so." He replied to Saturo, leaving with the book tucked safely under his arm.
Once outside and far from little gnome warlock ears, he groaned, wodnering just what he'd gotten himself into. Again.
"Do you think the others are back in Kharanos by now? Or should we check Darnassus just in case?" He turned to ask Indi, trying to keep the wariness out of his voice.

Lesari - Camp

The night elf danced away from the blast, scowling a little at the edge of it caught her. Her body was still numb from the cold though, the pain was minimal. She danced to the side, slicing at the dragon, moving to make him bleed with many, small cuts. ((Rend))

Exiting Saturo's home, Indi replied, "I would imagine they would be back in Kharanos by now. If anything, let's check there first before teleporting anywhere."

Kozri
Cultist Camp

Kozri whined, between the sword and the roots, he was dragged down to the ground. He hissed to himself. He was not going to die. Some Cultist whelps were not going to get the better of him. Roaring, he thrashed against his roots, launching another blast of magic ((Arcane Blast)) and then throwing a handful of the air. ((Blind.)) Hopefully while they were busy, he tried to slice apart the roots to free himself.
