After a moment Banet simply shrugged and focused her attention on Indi, or more specifically her soul. Her hand raised as she let out a soft breath and her mind focused on the part of her soul that was taking over at the moment.

It didn't last too long before she was forced to move out of the way from the spike, a soft curse coming from her as she looked down at the scratch to her side. She focused on her soul again for another try. She moved faster this time, focused on the part of the soul making her act like this and she tried to rip it out.

Helthang let out an echoing snarl as he lunged at Indi, his claws doing their best to tear into her armor. "Leave her alone!"

Indigosa--Booty Bay

"Yay, someone wants to play!" Indi exclaimed much like a small child. A quick incantation and a green bubble formed around her, blocking magic attacks ((Anti-Magic Shell)). For good measure, she muttered another spell, attempting to freeze over the warlock's mind to keep her from casting ((Mind Freeze)).

"GAH!" Banet moved back as she gave her head a vicious shake, her palm against her temple. "Now I remember why I do not like death knights!" She growled as she backed up and tried to stop the cold pain in her head. She kept herself back as she watched the bubble that was around her with a soft curse.

Helthang let out a growl as he moved toward Indi again, his hands moving to tug at her armor and try to spin her around to focus on him instead. "Pathetic that you have to hide from her abilities instead of facing them!" He ground out in a taunt, hoping it would move her attention to him

Threnaad - Booty Bay

The broken mentally sighed. He placed down his earth totem, calling a great, rumbling earth elemental to just outside the room.
"Let us know if anything unfriendly comes charging to attack." He said to it, before shuffling backwards to sit beside Myri. He placed down another totem, this one of water, to gently heal and, perhaps, bring a little bit of serenity to the huntress' mind. ((Earth Elemental Totem and Healing Stream Totem))
"This is kind of nice." He said, trying to force a smile. "Not usually how I get into a beautiful woman's room, nor what I usually do, but nice nonetheless. Think we have enough pillows here for a fort?"

"I am sorry." Zaruuk said, not knowing what else he should say. "I should not have left you alone. Too full of my own shit I guess. I hate to see you this way, Auch'noru."
Useless. You will not stop her this way.

Karzix and Glix - Booty Bay

The two goblins backed away from the doorway when the ice dome shattered. Glix stood in the middle of the room, peering out the doorway at what she could see. Tense, she glanced over at Karzix. He stood still beside her, looking like he was ready to bolt. Noticing her gaze he glanced over at her. They exchanged nervous looks before switching their attention back to the doorway, waiting and listening.

Azunara and Kozri
Booty Bay

"Stay here, Azu. Okay?" Koz said. Azunara shook her head, scowling. "Koz, don't go. She'll tear you to bits." Kozri faded into the shadows, giving a slight grin. "I'd like to see her try. It's her against all of us, don't think it can end that badly." With that, he stalked over towards Indi, leaping out of the shadows from behind, aiming a low strike at her that would hopefully cripple her temporarily. ((Cheap Shot.))

Azunara keened, forcing herself to stand. He would get hurt! She couldn't let that happen. She made herself move a step forward, growling, then another, inching closer to Indi.

Indigosa--Booty Bay

Indi gave Zaruuk a strange look. What was the mage on about?

The death knight then sighed at Helthang. "Really, you demons are so dreary and annoying," she muttered. However, the voidwalker didn't have blood like the warlock did. Indi unsheathed her axe and lunged toward Banet, attempting to strike at the warlock's midriff and consuming what bit of energy she had managed to gather.

She felt something strange hit her in the back. Turning, her wicked gaze fell upon Kozri. "This is becoming tiresome," she growled, curling a hand into a claw shape in an attempt to boil the rogue's blood.

((Ugh, have to edit for Kozri now.))

Kozri
Booty Bay

Kozri screeched in pain, but with Indi now facing him, he allowed his momentum to carry him and strike again, hoping the blade would sink deep enough in to keep her distracted and busy. ((Gouge.))

"GAH! Stop it!" Banet pushed her stomach back and pulled it in, though she felt a scrape against her skin. She let out a hiss before she placed her hand on her stomach and closed her eyes. Flames licked at her palm as she pressed it against the cut to stop the blood coming, she didn't need to give the death knight more to work with.

She stumbled back and snarled as she pulled the flame into her palm again and she threw it at Indi. Even if her shield was still up she could distract the death knight for a moment with the flare of the flames.

Helthang let out an irritated noise as he was ignored and he simply clawed at Indi's arm to try and knock any strikes off course.

Zaruuk - Booty Bay

He hated to admit it, but the darker thoughts in the back of his head had a point. Moaning wasn't going to help here.
"I am sorry. I love you, but you need to stop this. This is not who you are." He said, before reaching with his magic to syphon the death knight's anti-magic shield. ((Spellsteal))

Myriana and Swift - Booty Bay

Only one part of Threnaad's conversation got through to Myri's terrified mind: A fort...A fort would be a great thing. Though why would you use pillows? Stone would be better. And a moat. The more defenses to put between her and the mage the better...

Myri sat, trembling, before the water totem took affect. She slowly stopped shaking as she looked around the room, before remembering exactly what had happened. She had run...again. Suddenly the draenei burst into tears "I am a coward!". And despite hating herself for running, she still didn't budge from her spot.

Swift crawled into Myri's lap, trying to tell her that he didn't think she was a coward at all.

Faron and Tirrae, Booty Bay

Faron frowned at all the commotion, trotting out of the inn. He scowled as he saw the adventurers fighting amongst themselves. It seemed like old lizard roast was to blame. He scowled, trotting forward, electricity building on his pelt. He sent off a bolt towards the Death Knight, his ruff standing up and his tail held up aggressively.

Tirrae followed Myri and Thren, wanting to make sure they were safe. She curled around her Hunter as she started to cry.

Threnaad - Booty Bay

"Listen, you are a very brave young woman." Threnaad said, throwing an arm around Myri's shoulders. He would have preferred to have hugged her, but the animals made that hard. "Dancing with a clod like me? Nothing braver. Listen, being brave has nothing to do with not being afraid. A lot of people would've given up after what happened to you. But you didn't! You kept soldiering on! And you'll keep soldiering on because that's who you are. Myri the arse-kicker! If you can handle Swift, then nothing can get in your way!"

Myriana and Swift - Booty Bay

The huntress shook her head. "I have been afraid before. But I have never run and now I have run twice! I am a coward!" Myri repeated more vehemently this time. "If I was brave, I would be down there helping everyone and instead I am up here, crying like a child! And despite it all, I still cannot bring myself to move from this spot!" She looked down again as fresh set of tears started to flow,a tiny part of her surprised she had confided that much to someone she hardly knew at all. She leaned a little into the broken as he threw his arm around around her shoulders, though she didn't do more for fear of squashing Tirrae.

Also: I feel the need to state that no, Indi is not an actual vampire, it's just the signals/feelings/whatever that the corruption of her powers (or whatever you want to call it) is sending to her.))

Indi's face twisted itself into a savage snarl; between the fire, the lightning bolt and the rogue, she was not happy. "The whole lot of you are seriously starting to piss me off!" she yelled vehemently. Coalescing a last bit of energy together, she flung her arms to the sides, attempting to boil the blood of everyone around her.

The death knight collapsed to the ground. She needed someone's blood. The hunger beat at her like a drum. She almost swore that she could see heartbeats pulsing through veins around her. Part of her somewhere hurt that Zaruuk wouldn't come help her. She looked up to the mage with pleading eyes, clawing her hands through her own flesh in an effort to make bloodshed. Tears tracked down her face as she started shaking with need.

Helthang kept an eye on the death knight as she collapsed and he swore if he could have there would be a shudder rushing up his spine. As he lacked one it rushed though his essence instead and made him flinch.

"Okay...now that my brain isn't freezing anymore.." Banet muttered as she rubbed at her temple at the thought of it. She reached out to Indi's soul again, the connection faster this time as it was her third attempt. "If anyone is objected to this, other than her of course, speak now before I try this...Again."

Threnaad - Booty Bay

"Think a man with a broken leg could run across Nagrand the day after it gets bandaged up? Assuming it wasn't healed by magical means that is. Maybe it got cut off? No, then he wouldn't be able to run at all... Blah, I think I just ruined my own metaphor." The broken gently patted the girl's shoulder, trying to comfort her. "Well, you get the point, right? You cannot expect to just instantly be better after whatever happened to you. These things take time. I know it's frustrating and you want to get right back into the fray, but we got to learn how to walk again first, hmm? Or hop, considering my horribly butchered metaphor."

"Indi!" The draenei cried, disturbed to see her like this. Literally tearing herself apart. He thought he was bad, this was at least a hundred times worse. He blinked towards her, needing to reach her. To sense her pain himself. No! To help her! To put a stop to this!

Indigosa--Booty Bay

There it was again, that annoying itch against her soul. Indi turned her gaze on the warlock again, lashing out with a strangulate. The voice took control of Indi's body once more, letting out an evil sounding laugh. "You fool! You destroy me and you ruin her too! Deep down I am a part of her. I was created with her. Take me away and she becomes little more than a shell of being. She most certainly won't be able to fight! I am her power!" It let out another maniacal laugh, looking at Banet as though daring her to try and take Indi's soul again.

((So, since death knights are originally Scourge beings I figure at least some of their powers are riddled with corruption. Most death knights learn to control and master this (think Decay). Indi never learned that; her powers have always held sway over her which is why I refer to it as "the voice." I should have clarified that sooner. XD))

Myriana - Booty Bay

The corners of Myri's lips twitched as she finally gave into Threnaad's attempts to get her to smile. The last metaphor was just absurd, though she understood what the shaman was getting it. Not that that made it easier, but he did have a point. She wiped the tears from her eyes, and sat in her corner, with Swift, Tirrae and the shaman, praying that her friends ok. She still couldn't get herself to move, but at least she wasn't alone.
