Kozri snarled, tempted to drop his human disguise to break free. But the Vindicators were still out and about, and he couldn't risk having them know too. He thrashed, but Myri held tight and he was already weakened and injured from being scorched. "You don't care, you have Tirrae back. Everything's all fine for you." He hissed in reply. Logically, he knew Azunara wouldn't be hurt at all by the blast, but who knew what the troll would do to her?

The devilsaur gave a loud cracking sound, then a horrible boom as it blew, its energy releasing and killing anyone close to it. Several Vindicators fell, and ice shards littered the area. Anyone not too close would likely be knocked down. ((It wasn't too close to Batlek, so he probably wouldn't die. Just saying.)) Ice shards rained from the sky, a deadly hail that speared several more Vindicators and a few cultists that were too slow.

((Willowe gave Kozri some healing so some of his wounds should be repairing.))

((*nods.* Still doesn't feel too good, though. But, got it.))

Kozri snarled as the blastwave went by, threatening to knock him over. He had been dragged forcefully away far enough that it didn't send either of them over, but after the initial shock, he made another lunge towards the battle. Azunara seemed unaffected, watching the creature explode, then looking back at her fleeing rescuers. Were they going to leave her behind?

Cult
Azuremyst

The Cult, hearing the boom and feeling the shockwave, quickly returned to their camp to stand and protect it, a few chasing after the adventurers to pester and heckle them. The beasts let out a clamor, a couple of them standing around where the devilsaur had been, letting out cries of mourning.

Willowe--Azuremyst Isle

Willowe hadn't been paying attention to the exploding devilsaur and paid for it when one of the raining shards pierced straight through one of the worgen's legs, pinning her to ground. The druid cried out and slumped, not wanting to heal herself since that would just seal her leg around the ice. She saw Kozri running back into battle through her now blurred vision and she threw out some more heals for him, starting to shake as her body started to enter shock no matter how hard she tried to fight it off.

((He only tried, didn't. But, with those heals...Seren, if Myri wants to Tranq shot him, go for it.))

With the further healing, Kozri made an another attempt to wrench himself out of Myri's grasp, moving for the battle once more. He'd be damned before he let Azunara be stuck here.

[Lupis]

Batlek, Lightfur, Faron, Azuremyst

Batlek growled, hardening his skin before briefly pulsing out fire to melt any ice that got close. ((Demon Armor and quick Hellfire)) The attacks from before the explosion were painful enough, but he dismissed the pain as usual. Pain was of little concern unless it stopped him from fighting. Seeing that the worgen was down, he lit a spark in each palm. The mist condensed on each spark and then pulsed towards the worgen. ((Searing Pain, shadowafied.))

Lightfur had shifted to a smaller form - a cat - to flee the explosion. Now he started healing himself, then switched to pay attention to the others. Focusing, he healed Batlek ((Lifebloom stack/Rejuvenation)) as well.

Faron dove away from the explosion, wincing as a few shards cut his pelt. Turning, he started to approach Batlek again but staggered as the curses gained strength. Ah, fel..

Tirrae, Exodar

Tirrae lay still, taking time to rest. She shuddered every time she felt a stab of pain from Myri.

Magna - Camp

Magna looked at Asli, "You ok?"

Arbennig charged into the camp, aiming at Batlek.

She didn't get a chance to tell Kozri that if they list both him and Azu Tirrae would probably try and follow.

She tranq shotted Koz, not about to let him get killed or worse. She ran to Willowe to try and help the druid. She called Swift to her, asking the fox to melt the iceshard in the worgens leg. She would go back for Kozri after she was assured the druid was ok.


Senisra looked through the chaos, trying to find Myri.

Nyrali gasped as Ambrosia connected with her.. The warrior turned to counter attack but was knocked by the devilsaurs explosion.

Kozri snarled as he felt the arrow dig into his shoulder. The effect was rapid and he fell down, asleep. Azunara yowled as Kozri went down, tail lashing frenziedly. What were they doing? She looked at Batlek, glaring.

"Fine, except for the scratch." Asli taunted as she gave him a small look. "But I'll get you back for that later." She muttered as she glanced out. A frown came to her lips as she looked around for Soshi. A low roar made her perk up as she saw the lion laying down, an ice shard in his hind leg.
She let out a yelp and jumped up to go get the ice out and heal her friend.

Magna - Camp

Magna ran over to help pull the shard out, "Its in deep..."

Karma, Serenity, Willowe, Sabra, and Ambrosia--Azuremyst Isle

Karma and Serenity tore themselves away from where the devilsaur was exploding. Once safe, Serenity once more tried creating a poisonous cloud of spores, this time over Lightfur.

Seeing that the wind serpent didn't responder to her attack, Karma focused her attention on Batlek, ramping up a powerful arcance spell and blasting it towards his hands, trying to make him drop Azu's soul shard ((Arcane Blast)).

Willowe howled as she felt her fur singing off, her vision was too blurred to retaliate, however. Her ears twitched as she heard someone near her, but the pain was near unbearable and she was losing quite a bit of blood--the worgen fell unconscious.

Sabra and Ambrosia were rocked by the explosion, both being sent flying a few yards, although neither were penetrated by the dangerous shards. The rogue immediately vanished ((Vanish)), using the explosion to her advantage, once more sending her daggers seeking Nyrali's back ((Backstab)).

Sabra wasn't a total idiot, while Ambrosia had Nyrali's attention, she got to her feet and ran back towards her father, cursing vindicators as she went.

"Stay still Soshi." Asli muttered as she rubbed at his ears before she put her hand against the ice. She pulled it back and glanced around for something to cover her hand with before she cursed. Her hand curled around the ice and she began to pull at it, doing her best to ignore the growling whines coming from Soshi. "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry."

Cori - Cultist Camp

Cori managed to shield herself in the last second, ice shards skimming by. She turned to help take the enemy healer down, casting a Chastise at the hunter aiding her before calling down a pillar of divine fire to burn them both.

Batlek, Lightfur and Faron, Azuremyst

Batlek growled at the pets, the mist around him again condensing into flames to burn the beasts. He hissed as his hands were hit, but he'd tied the shard to his wrist again, and it continued to hang an inch below his wrist. Aiming to heal his hands, he lashed out with a bolt of energy at Faron, stealing the wolf's life. ((Chaos Bolt))

Lightfur calmed. He began casting in a more zenlike state, healing Batlek and himself.

Faron yelped, staggering back. Time to get away. The curses were at their strongest phase and were soon to fade, but it made moving painful.

Tirrae, Exodar

Focusing, Tirrae tried to communicate with Myri, sending a simple message: Azu?

Karma, Serenity and Willowe--Azuremyst Isle

Karma growled and launched herself at Batlek, aiming for the wrist with the shard on it. Serenity went over to help her wolf sister, flying into Batlek's face and trying to cover him in spores.

Willowe didn't react as the holy fire washed over her, more of her fur singing off.

Cori - Cultist Camp

Cori continued trying to take the healer down, lashing after it with two rapid Smites. "Lord Batlek, go for the worgen. It's their healer!", she exclaimed, poking the troll.

Magna - Camp

"You'll be ok Soshi..." he said, stroking the cat.

Arbennig turned his scales Green. He breathed a poisonous breath at Batlek with one head, and Cori with the other.

Karzix, Glix and Richard - Azuremyst

Glix slowly peered around the cover of her tree, pausing to stare at the shards embedded deep into the opposite side of the trunk. She turned back around to look at where the devilsaur had stood before a flash of bright light caught her eye. She let out a frustrated noise at the sight of Myri standing over an unconscious Willowe, one of the Cultists in the process of attacking them. She focused on whipping up a blizzard to whirl around the pair, trying to obscure them from view before any more harm came to them. "C'mon, Myri!" She hissed under her breath. "Move! Get yourself and Willowe out of there!"
Karzix winced as a few smaller ice shards grazed past his skin, though he had ran far enough into the cover of the foliage that most of the large shards had been stopped or slowed. He paused to listen for any nearby Cultists, tense and ready to either attack or slink away.

Richard was caught off-balance by the blast and he tripped up and fell, catching himself before he hit the ground. He grimaced as several shards deflected off of his shield as he rose back up to his feet. He turned back around, hearing the sound of a howl followed by the uproar of continued battling. His eyebrows shot up at the sight of the elemental beasts attacking Batlek and he quickly sent out a Mind Blast spell toward the sporebat hovering about the troll's head.

"One last pull." Asli promised as she moved to her hooves. She leaned down and gripped the ice before she pulled it hard. It came out with a loud slicing sound and she immediatly began to heal the wound, even as Soshi roared out. His tail lashed and he let out a hiss, though he didn't lunge as he wanted to.
