Are you hitting the enter/return key after each one? If you want rows of two it should look something like:

pic pic

(In other words, put a space in between two pictures and then hit enter. Of course, all that only applies if I read that how you meant it.)

Quick example:



Ignore everything I said if that's not what you meant.
