Re: Pet Swimming Animations
As for swim animations, eh, I don't know all of them. I just know that bird swim animations are really unrealistic.

Re: Pet Swimming Animations
I always find the cat swimming animations amusing, mostly because I can't imagine a cat that would willingly do it. Then again, tigers DO like the water.....
I love the raptors/devilsaurs. They look cool.
Crocs, naturally, look better swimming than walking.

Re: Pet Swimming Animations
Devilsaur is using his tiny front claws for swimming, raptors are not.
That means: Not the same animation.
Cleared that up.

Re: Pet Swimming Animations
As far as I know, worms, serpents, and wind serpents, look very similar when swimming.
I don't know why, but raptor/devilsaur swimming always bugged me...

Re: Pet Swimming Animations
Interesting sidenote, most cat species irl tend to avoid water due to not having any instinct related reason to enter it, so in absence of reason the water causes a danger response. It's not a huge response so it can be overcome by experiance. For example a domestic cat who is exposed to baths gradually and consistantly will likely grow to tolerate it, if not like it as a form of play time (Like my black male DMS, Picklefish.)VelkynKarma wrote:Haha, I think it's silly how the birds fly through the water.

In the case of species like most tigers and jaguars, water generates no such danger response because these species actually have prey that resides in them.
Mind you when I say no danger response I'm not including the cat in question being concerned about specific predators that might also reside in said water I'm only speaking of the water itself.
