IS Solix now untameable?

With Solix's cave now full of dozens of players and mobs, is it even possible to tame the orange spider of doom?

I for one cant think how its possible, cant even kite him out of the cave without him resetting

Get the glyph of conc shot and don't use frost traps. It is absolutely doable, though it is going to be considerably harder with all that going on.

I had the same concerns (in particular I was worried about what would happen as soon as a mob of unstable flameragers hit my freeze trap), but I did it last night without much trouble, and there were a ton of people running around doing dailies.

Yeah, it's a pain with the flameragers running around. Worse yet on one try I was helping with a druid saw what was going on and stood on a rock while his flameragers ran in circles murdering everyone.

That said, he is rootsable and you can root him on a slow patch to speed things along. I've left my druid out there for now to help with that.
