He was there the first time I checked with the intention of taming him, only after a failed attempt, another hunter came running up, silenced him and had his friend use lust, and took off loling. I go to check on my worgen hunter, Kassidi, and he's up! I was ready for him this time! Sadly, so were the rogue and kitty that stealth-hopped to him and killed him during my tame. Next day, I hop on Zenali, and there he is, hanging out on his rock, taunting me. I ask my guild for a lust to help, silence. I ask a mage I see in Molten Front, he agrees for 500g. He gets there, and the tame goes perfectly. Then the mage wouldn't take my gold when I tried to give it to him. People still are nice! (Skarr has been renamed Aku)
Tonight, at 11:30 pm, I get on Kassidi and go flying by the regrowth, and there's Magria's little dot on tracking, being followed by a green dot. Green dot was a paladin who didn't quite know about Magria. He whispered me "That thing just one shot me!" So while I'm talking to this paladin about hunter-specific rares, I'm taking off all my armor and following Magria. Tame went off smoothly, and now Magria needs a name.
Feeling good about taming Magria, I go into the Molten Front to check for other rares. I peek into the cave where Solix spawns, and I see his butt sticking out of the lava. My heart started pounding, and all I was thinking was "crap! I'm bad at kiting!" After more attempts than I care to admit, while waiting for my rez timer (yep, that many) a troll hunter runs right up to Solix, casts tame, and dies. I expected him to come back and try again, but that one attempt, if you can call it that, was enough for him. So it was just me and Solix. I rearranged my action bar a bit, put on cheetah, set down an ice trap on the center rune of the cave, jumped and hit concussive shot. After running all over the cave, and silently hoping that everyone who came in during my attempts would leave Solix alone, he is mine.

EDIT: Tamed Solix on Zenali the next day with no trouble at all. =D
