You explained exactly what I meant I hate the way Blizzard has turned everything into a snooze run, so people can complete it in a short time and without any real effort! People say let's have hard and easy Heroic's.. oh wait you had them and still complained (za/zg), now they're easy and you're also unhappy...*FACEPALM*Gimlion wrote:You have no idea (well... maybe you do, but IDK) how pissed I was about Blizzard nerfing my favorite instance into another one of their mindless, requires-minimal-skill styled dungeons... I almost rage quit the game right there, but decided against it...SgtMakkie wrote:hehe, made me chuckle... kinda exactly my point.. why nerf them, only to bring them back rehashed?!? Maybe better to have area's inside the dungeon that you can unlock with a quest that are then specific and new to max level players.Gimlion wrote:Sunken Temple... The Original Sunken Temple.
I seriously loved the design of Old ST, and when I saw the extremely dull and mind-numbingly noob/idiot-friendly layout they gave the new one, I wanted to cry.
Though I may be one of the few who liked the old way, it was very much like a puzzle or math problem, took time to do right, but still fun in the end (Well, I like math, so ). Now it's too boring and easy, just like all of their other dungeons.
One day people will see the junk Blizzard is peddling and say No (at least I hope so). Answer one simple question, why rehash? Why are we as paying clients, willing to accept a remade dungeon that you've already gotten so bored of, the original got nerfed into a cake walk? Are you really viewing yourself so low or unworthy of new and well designed dungeons? Why can't the term Heroic actually have a meaning close to the one you'd find in the dictionary?!? Instead you go to the word farce and find the meaning there!
I stopped playing the game because I got bored of Blizzards constant inability to be a modern games company that pushed the boundaries of the engine and made players actually play their class. The day they wake up and see that it's 2011 and no longer the day of the nerf, maybe I'll be coming back. Until then, WOW is just a memory of a fun game that got ruined.
