I'm trying to be ZEN, I really am..
but a whole shit load of people came in Deepholm today and a couple of them are all ''omg I want Aeonaxx''
I'm really wanting to scream and banish them from deepholm.
My patience is really running low..
one of them had the balls to say ''If I camped him for three months I wouldn't have missed him five times''
I wanted to spam my heroic leggings at him.
Instead I said health > pixel. Haven't heard from him since....

I agree with Health > pixels. I truly do. I have taken a 5 month break to improve on my arm strength, and now, I can play hockey again

I suggest ignoring pretty much everyone that tries to talk to you when they come along and start camping as well/stack on you.

I find that when I camp for something long enough, I get rather pissy. I don't want anyone else to have it until I do. If people come and stare at me and then decide to ask me questions, I won't give them a very lighthearted response. If I'm camping, you stay out of my way, that kind of thing.

Reminds me of the time I came across someone camping for Arcturis. I was a level 85 Horde and they were a level 80 Alliance, and it was a PvP server. I thought, for the lulz, I would gank them. Once. Then I'd leave them alone. Just for some fun. So I did, swooped down and one-shotted their ass. I mounted up again and got ready to leave and just as I did... Arcturis spawned in my face. I suddenly felt really horrible and the Alliance guy hadn't released his corpse yet so he could probably see that Arcturis had spawned too. I instantly did everything I could to make it obvious I didn't want Arcturis, but the moment the guy ressed he summoned like three level 85 friends to defend him while he tamed it. I really felt bad about ganking him, but what where the chances Arcturis would spawn at that EXACT moment? I think I would cry if something like that happened to me, but the person who ganked me wasn't willing to be as kind in the end.

It was actually my boyfriend who pointed it out to me. He noticed when I camp things I seem to want to be left alone a lot more often, and when I do speak to anyone I seem to snap a lot. I used to be friendly as well and direct people to the websites and what not, but if anyone asks me questions now I link them the website and tell them to do their own research, stop being lazy, etc. I'm usually a nice person too. D:

Well, from my experience with that guy, I gave him the actual spawn timer, the ID for bloodseeker and taught him how to camp for Aeonaxx.. then he stole it..ever since then I've been very harsh and judgemental against others. I'm due for a break soon, when Pilgrim's week comes, I'll do a cooking break, farm cooking materials, anything to get my mind off of Aeonaxx...think that will be good for me

Breaks feel awesome. And then when you feel all refreshed and pumped and ready to go again... Even better feeling.

I agree, the longest break I've had lasted 3 days. I felt better after that break and caught a bloodseeker early the morning I camee back, so I got another 6 hour break hehe.

So in a week and a half, Aeonaxx can spawn for me, or he can hide again and I'll camp him from the day after Pilgrim's week til my Birthday.

I remember, off the top of my head...One day I was flying through Storm Peaks with my mage. I was checking on Skoll spawn points for a Hunter friend of mine who has been wanting him. All of a sudden my NPC Blares, and its the TLPD's Corpse. I figured it couldnt have been a long time since someone had tagged him, so I did a /who of the area and saw three 85s. So I figured I'd let'em know.

1.) General - Just letting you Level 85s know, incase your camping, the corpse of the TLPD is over here by the lake.

And quite suddenly, all three people whisper me. "OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS." - "WTF I WAS JUST OVER THERE UGHHHHH" - "i bet ur lieing"

So you know what? Fuck being nice. Didnt even get a thank you out of them.

To be honest, I bet they were all really surprised, shocked and pretty angry too. I know I'd be mad, so I'd let them off since they'd just wanna vent at that point in time. I never expect a thank you for that kind of thing. Try not to expect much from WoW players because you won't get much, I'm afraid. I only expect a thank you if I let someone know about a rare pet, for example. Best thank you for that I ever got was when I found Skoll and I whispered the only other hunter in the area about it - He was so pleased! He even named his new Skoll after my character.

Back when 4.2 was released after I caught all my spiders, I ran around the map doing my dailies, whenever I saw a spawn, I'd contact a random hunter of my choosing and help them tame it. I was the hunter pet guru back then, I still have people contacting me for help. I love helping people, but after losing this drake 5 times, I'm so done helping. I'm not even going to announce in guild chat when a bloodseeker spawns. I am suspicious of one or two that would take it without a second thought..

(I didn't have internet last night cause we moved, so when I finally sat down and unpacked + hooked up my computer I made myself a siggy to relax. I may redo Bella's pose, I sorta feel the top left corner needs some love, otherwise I'm in love with it cause its so colorful. lol)

And yeah, well one of those guildies wanted Aeonaxx as well, told me the day after ''The other guy'' took his second Aeonaxx.. he was met with a ''oh hell no'' now he sits in deepholm in my party with master loot on me.. lol and another guildie has been on a three month leave and comes back and expects everything to be handed to him on a silver platter. ''I want time lost, but I'm gonna sit here for ten minutes and whine about him not spawning.'' ''I want the grey camel but I cba flying around'' ''I want Poseidus, but I'm not going to even look up his spawn timer'' I think he reads these forums so I won't say anymore...

yeah. :/ He already stole Deth'Tilac (long story I'm giving him another chance)..
I'm half-worried he's going to take Aeonaxx should he be in the zone.. he did help me get the Burgy hat today though.. so I'm conflicted.. trust is very hard to earn, once it's lost it's the most difficult thing to try to gain back..

I know exactly where you're coming from.

While my camp for Time-Lost was only two months I was that crazy person putting in multiple 24+ hour days. At the start if people asked about camping I'd direct them to websites too and show them spawn points if they couldn't find them. I'd tell them when Vyragosa spawned and move if I logged in ontop of them.

Each and every person I helped walked away with the mount. Only one person helped me and she was the one who helped me at the very start in the first place. ((Actually, it spawned on me because of her...))
It got to the point where people just flying around pointless were getting it before me and I became bitter. I still am from it.

I started refusing to help people and just told them to use google if they tried asking me questions.

Now that I have it I'll go up every once in a while to see if there's horde who need guidance but...I just...people are jerks.
